I see most profiles are modeled after...

Confused about first 3D to buy

Hi all. It's been a while! I'm getting back into RC. I've been flying a UM Trojan for six months and while it's fun I'd like to move up to a 3D. The Trojan just doesn't do inverted like I want.

RE: Who's Flying the PZ Vapor?

So I've been flying it alot at work before public hours of the theater (iWerks Theater-same size as Imax).

It's a lot of fun, but I got tired of slow flight, throttle-off landings, and loops. ...

Show us your flying areas!

Show pics of where you fly, or videos if you have them. I work at a museum and fly my PZ Vapor there whenever possible. Not trying to Spam my place of employment, but my pictures suck compared to...

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX

1) The flybar sits in a notch. The notch has a screw in it to prevent the flybar from coming out. There should only be one screw, is yours missing?

2) Yes, loosen the two screws in the collar....

RE: Who's Flying the PZ Vapor?

Thanks. I should have figured acetone or alchohol would, just didn't think about it at the time!

Yes, it is worth $100 for sure. In fact I found it to be worth $200, since I bought two. ...

RE: Who's Flying the PZ Vapor?

So I bought one this morning, using a Christmas gift card for some of it. Love it so far. Did some loops and wingovers on the second flight. Have about six flights on her now. One problem. I...

RE: 1st heli flight : Scary

Sure is addicting! Did you get your C120? If so, how is she flying? I would love my own aircraft but if I got one it would probably be an ultralight or homebuilt.

I did some hovering and...

RE: Snow scooter....Home made!

No, unfortunately I don't have pics. I used the Great Planes skis and also used wheels on them both. The snow was more fun because on asphalt it was too fast and too unstable. I didn't use it on...

RE: Any tips for flying my new heli?

Don't crash!

Well, for flying tips I guess a good one is to make small movements of the sticks. Over-correcting can cause lots of crashes. Hover off the ground a few inches at first, then...

I have seen a few vids online. Very cool plane! What about aerobatics with a turbine? They aren't as responsive as a piston but maybe the turboprop is different than a turbojet due to the...

RE: Snow scooter....Home made!

That's cool! I made one about 10 years ago with my K&B .45 out of wood and had a large basswood air rudder. It also had three skis but was more triangular and wider. I made another a few years ago...

RE: airwolf ...check this out

Yeah I know what a JetCat is, I was curious what size and if there is more than one. JetCat only sells one turboshaft unless you can swap a larger engine into their mechanics.
