RE: hi i have a spektrum dx3r and having problems with getting the transmitter to respond with reciever

With these 2.4GHz radios you have to bind the receiver to the transmitter, did your second hand DX3R come with a binding plug? It looks like a regular connector for the receiver but has a wire that...

RE: cx3 range?

The range using the included radio is beyond your capable sight, you would no longer be able to see your CX3. That should be far enough don't you think?

RE: Time to upgrade to a CP heli, how much is my custom CX2 worth?

I threw that pile away long time ago, the six Lipos I purchased late in the game. I probably have 10 recharges on each Lipo, as for why I purchased so many batteries is because I liked to go to the...

Time to upgrade to a CP heli, how much is my custom CX2 worth?

I have been flying my CX2 for quite sometime now, I feel like its the right time to get something a little bigger with collective pitch. Money is tight right now so I'll have to sell my CX2 before I...

RE: Ideal size for receiver packs

I have a 5 cell 6V 1600 mAh receiver pack powering two high amp draw digital servos using my Futaba 3PKS, it lasts long enough and in-between taking breaks I put it on the charger just so it lasts...

RE: Carbon Fiber Outer Shaft, Titanium Inner Shaft Available Soon!

The epoxy being used can make or break how long the epoxy holds up, what were you using to keep the gear on? I've been told by kelhat1 that the gears slip on the carbon fiber shaft pretty snug, the...

RE: CX2 Titanium Inner Shaft and Carbon Fiber Outer shaft

Throughout my testing I have found that the titanium/carbon fiber shafts will withstand (see feedback on sellers e-Bay) moderate to pretty hard crashes! The only thing people need to know is the set...

RE: CX2 Titanium Inner Shaft and Carbon Fiber Outer shaft

Titanium can bend alot further than steel can without actually staying bent, it springs back unlike steel.

RE: CX2 Titanium Inner Shaft and Carbon Fiber Outer shaft

You know how it go's, a new CX2/CX3 is just a down payment when compared to all the upgrades some people add. My brother bought a Harley Davidson stock for $13.800, he now has at least $7,000 in...

RE: 3pm 2.4 g and 3-cell lipo

My brother had two Lipos in storage for just a few months, they were both fully charged when it was stored. After a few months only one puffed up, why it happened I don't know.

RE: 3pm 2.4 g and 3-cell lipo

Well considering that a NiMH battery fully charged will be 11.6 volts, I don't see a huge problem here. The only thing that bothers "me" is most TX's are designed to run on 9.6 volts nominal and not...

CX2 Titanium Inner Shaft and Carbon Fiber Outer shaft

My e-Bay friend (friend of the family) has really gone and done it now, offering a 10mm extended titanium inner shaft and a matching carbon fiber outer shaft (w/gear) combo. I have had the pleasure...

RE: I can't believe thats all that broke!

Gary your Goldslinger Carbon Fiber flybar has withstood many minor and moderate crashes, I'm simply amazed at the durability! I just received my third Goldslinger Carbon Fiber flybar today at my door...

RE: I can't believe thats all that broke!

Yes it is, kelhat1. The reason people buy extended shafts is because of the lower blades striking the upper blades, personally I have never had a blade strike. kelhat1 will be offering a new carbon...

RE: I can't believe thats all that broke!

First of all stay away from Microheli products, especially the blade grips! You don't have to balance Xtreme blades, there already spot on balanced. As for the Titanium inner shafts I haven't bent...

RE: I can't believe thats all that broke!

I'm thinking about reinstalling my Xtreme CNC rotor heads, when I last had them installed at my brother's house I remember it being very breezy and didn't have too much trouble maintaining a hover....

RE: I can't believe thats all that broke!

Well I put her back together and the head was shaking badly, I thought it was my Goldslinger CF flybar that was unbalanced. After many hours I couldn't believe it, my Carbon Fiber outer shaft was...

I can't believe thats all that broke!

I was flying my CX2 today and a strong breeze started to take my CX2 skyward at less than 1/4th throttle, I tried to fly into the strong breeze to bring it back. The wind was just too much for my...

RE: Lipo pack for Futaba Junior anyone!!!

The only thing stopping me from going Lipo in my transmitters is that if for some strange reason the Lipo decides to puff up, only two things would cause this to happen. (1) let it discharge to far...

RE: Lipo pack for Futaba Junior anyone!!!

NO, don't do it!! Receivers can handle just over 6.0V volts, anymore than that and you will fry more than just your receiver. You will fry anything connected to it!

RE: Lipo pack for Futaba Junior anyone!!!

Never heard of a Futaba Magnum Junior, but I think you are confused about a Lipos peak voltage. When you have an 11.1V 3cell Lipo or any 3cell Lipo, they typically peak out at 12.6 volts. My 7.4V...

RE: Carbon Fiber Outer Shaft, Titanium Inner Shaft Available Soon!

kelhat1 will be selling them on e-Bay to start as an inner outer shaft combo to see how well they sell.

I was holding my CX2 by the tailboom (stupid!) to test out how well and true the CF...
