I just bought the DX6 and Blade 180 CFX. I've flown big glow flybar helicopters for a decade but this micro flybarless stuff has me scratching my head. I followed the manual for my radio, and...

RE: Fazer hover

I've had 3 Fazers now and I've yet to get a decent hover out of it. I just finished number 3 with a Evolution .46 and 12.5x3.5 APC prop. LOTS of power, but as mentioned above, not enough rudder. ...

RE: Fuel tank issue...

Yeah...with a RAM500 and the stock tanks, we burn 64 ounces of fuel in about 5 minutes at full throttle (is there any other way to fly?) The Ram500 hauls the Stingray around quite nicely, especially...

RE: Super Tiger 90

I LOVE the ST G-90, old or new version. Someone mentioned they are good for torque, but in my Shoestring it flies like a pylon racer with a 13x8 AND smoke system. Check out the vid...

RE: Diamond Dust...full sheeting??

I'm building one now and sheeting it for Turbine use. Gonna glass the sheeting and then paint it. It should move pretty good with a 7lb thrust turbine. :D

RE: questions for KMP P-38 owners

Hey Sonnich...where did you get your little A4 Skyhawk prop-jet? I've been looking for something like that for a LONG time. I had a Byron ducted fan Skyhawk in the 90's and it was awesome, albeit...

RE: sig fazer

Fazer adventures...I made my first Fazer like a P-51, but it came together with a trainer airplane that was pulling a streamer and I got a little too close. The second Fazer I covered like the old...

RE: Raptor Helis pIctUrEs

A few of my old Rappys. The yellow one is obviously an S300 conversion, which I got from Century and it's actually designed for their Hawk heli, but fits on the Raptor with little modification. The...

RE: Yellow Aircraft Stingray turbine crash...toasty

Seriously...I spoke with the firemen at the scene and they said that the grass gets burned off anyway every few years so that new grass will come in, so it was no big deal. There was nothing...

Y/A Stingray crash...worst I've ever seen/performed...

Yep, it's official, the Stingray is no more. I zigged, it zagged, and down she went at full throttle. I killed it just before impact, but it didn't matter...huge fireball and burned up a couple of...

RE: Yellow Aircraft Stingray turbine crash...toasty

And I did the park rangers a favor by burning off a few acres of dry grass :D
In the middle-left part of the picture you can see our windsock and flying site. That's how far away the jet was on...

RE: Newest video...pair of Y/A Stingrays in action!

Oh well...

Shock: I used Adobe Premier to edit the vid, then converted to .wmv with Movie Maker. I know it's huge, but crunching it down degraded the video too much. And I know the TopGun music is getting...

RE: BVM BobCat spinning.

Ummmm....I just want to know why some of you jet guys are using Gyros in your planes? Is it because of the lazy left thumb, or does it really do that much to help the tracking? I have a Stingray,...
