RE: Fuel Flow Direction, A or B?

No answer means guesses are fair game. Its a filter, not a check valve. That being said, most filters are installed so that the fluid going through them travels from the outside to the inside. More...

RE: Did anyone fly on New Years Day?

Flying would be nice....but nearly impossible through most of the winter here... New Years Day was a balmy -37 Celsius... with a 30 mile/hour wind... -45 with the wind. If you don't know what...

Flying thing????

I'm sure I'm not crazy but I can't think of the right words to search to find what I'm looking for... Its a VTOL free flight aircraft, an engine mounted level with the ground on one end of a 'wing',...

RE: Black Smoke???

Just gonna throw this out here. AeroTech Consumer Aerospace makes a model rocket motor propellant (solid) called Black Jack and Black Max that leaves a heavy black trail on ignition. It might be...

RE: APC 11 X 7 prop fit

I would stay away from the 10 x 5... I don't think thats enough prop. 10X6 or 7 is about the lowest I'd go. I run an APC 11 X 5 on the Evolution .455 (the power trainer engine) and its given me very...

RE: Glow Powered Foam Flycat Build!

RE: Found the expiration date on my H9 Arrow

Do you have any pictures of your bolt on wing conversion? And any thoughts you might have on preventing the failure that you had. I fly the living crap outta my Arrow and I'd really like to switch to...

RE: Crosswind landings

One thing I like to do is practice flat turns. Get some altitude and crank on the rudder. Hold the rudder full on, maintain altitude for a full circle then do some straight lines, gain altitude and...

RE: 1st contest, 3rd place...

I was the dragging plane at our last fun fly/ demonstration and it was a blast. I can't imagine crepe paper causing any type of interference if you catch it with something other than the prop. I can...

RE: stripped blind nuts..

I would recommend pulling the fuel tank out and replacing the blind nut or nuts as necessary. Once the fuel tank is out you should be able to see the nuts on the back of the firewall and pushing them...
