Yes, it looks unlikely for getting that part, so I'll make do with this one. If the solder breaks I can weld it and mill it down to the correct diameter.

It's the type of steel (seems more like white metal), it got a little bent, when I straightened it the crack appeared. I wish it was a better grade metal.

Thanks, it's been a few years since I operated my tanks but at least one came from them. I'll check them out! I also have the Sherman Tamiya kit but also a ton of the Heng Long stuff.

There are alternatives to the HL IR system, I think there are a couple of people here who even make the alternate system. If they don't chime in here you might want to make a post with 'HL combat...

Florida tanker here, not many of us around and no club that I know of. Of course it only takes one or two to start the nucleus of a club.
I have several HL's and a couple of Tamiya. Welcome aboard...
