450s is a fine heli to start out with. Plastic parts are a lot cheaper to replace then the metel parts that you get with a 450SE heli. The 450s upgrades well with Align and after market metel also.

Just yesterday I was compaining to a friend about the slop in my 450S swash. Still flies well with 100 or so flights.

Thanks for the tips. I used a number 2 lead pencil and and marked the tip of the dowels. That worked.

Yes please keep this thread going. I am building a Hog myself. I started with the fuselage first. Made the mistake of putting F7 former the wrong way.

Thanks for the reply alfredbmor. Before I centered the servos an servo arms I set the radio swash settings to 50%, e-points to 100% both ways, subtrims 0%, th-cu and pi-cu to 100,75,50,25,0%. ...
