RE: 5945 Version and difference

One thing I did come up with but I'm not sure is that the version number (IE 1.04) is no longer on the later manufactured servo's. I think it is a build date 05.7 would be July 05, 5.10 would be Oct...

RE: 5945 Version and difference

SJN, I hope you get an answer because I have close to the same situation. I received two new 5945's the being a 1.04 and in my case the other being a 5.10. I'm not sure but I think the 5.10 is the...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

BTW I did have a problem on the second flight! The elevator arm/wire combo broke in half at the spot welds where the servo arm is welded to the bent wire[:-]. I was lucky, the weld held on the left...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

I have a FPE 2.4 in mine. With this engine the CG was "right on" with no added weight! I have the FPE Pitts muffler also, between the two it was like the engine-muffler combo was custom made for the...

RE: QQ 85" Yak

If this plane flies as well or better (it should being larger) then the 72" it will be awesome! My 72" is the best 3D and overall flying "scale" acrobatic plane I've seen, have or had for its size.

RE: BME Edge Maiden Flight

A 10-32 socket head cap screw, the length you will need to measure. I don't know what spinner you are going to use. Normally it is the same length as the spinner tip to bottom without the thrust...

RE: BME Edge Maiden Flight

A spinner will help your CG problem, it adds about 3oz in the best place you can hope for! Mine has over 50 flights on it and one of my favorites. Some times loading my 35% plane after work takes to...

RE: BME Edge Maiden Flight

The "OLD" one, not much difference by the way. The new one has a better color scheme though IMO. If your not concerned with 3D at this point make it 4" to 4 1/4" if you can.

RE: BME Edge Maiden Flight

I have a FPE 3.2 in my BME Edge its weight is 16lbs 9oz. The FPE and the DA-50 weigh about the same w/ ignition and muffler. It seems odd that it would "drop" on landing because I can slow mine down...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

I should have my 182 this coming Tuesday along with a Robart strut. I read the fix for the rudder, it sound like a good idea. I'm going to use a FPE 2.4 with a 18-10 three blade Biela white/red prop...

RE: New 5955 Jitter

RE: Best gasser in the 40-45 CC range

Take a look at the FPE 2.4 (First Place Engines) I've had good luck with them. Go to the Sig Mfg web site, they are the distributor.
