RE: Blade mSR X Feedback

Got my mSRx a few days ago. Ialso have an mSR, SR120 and mCPx. I fly all with a DX6i and used the same programming for the mSRx that I had for the mSR.

I bought this heli because I am pretty...

RE: The Next Step

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer.

I started with the mSR and once I was pretty comfortable with it I got the mCPx. I don't have very much time to practice, but after 6 months it is still a...

RE: Best Heli Upgrade Model?

Of course any heli can be flown outside. The mSR is OK with zero wind and if you have very good eyesight. I have a hard time seing it if I fly a bit further away and that is half the fun of flying...

RE: Best Heli Upgrade Model?

I have the mSR, 120SR and mCPx. I fly all with a DX6i.

mSR: Fun indoors, especially when set to highest gain rates. Too small for outdoor use. Has a tendancy to toiletbowl. Except for landing...

RE: DX6i settings PDF for mSR?

I use the Heli setting so I can run a flatter throttle curve in the midrange which I like. I advantage of the computer radio is that you can play with all the settings and get it to where it flies to...

RE: MCPX Frustrations

I had to send mine back to Horizon since it was doing what you are describing. It started out fine, but went uncontrollable after a few flights. I don't know what they fixed. My guess is that the...

RE: mCPx vs. SR?

I think you are referring to the 120SR, which is available BNF and I own one. I am curious about the SR.

mCPx vs. SR?

OK, so I started with the mSR then bought a 120SR for outdoors and now got the mCPx to learn to control a CPheli. The mCPx is definitely a challenge. Just curious how the flight characteristic of the...

RE: Blade 400 for first Heli

Bigger heli, bigger $$ for parts. Larger mass = guranteed failures when crashed. CP head speed = even bigger failures when crashed.

I started with the mSR for indoor flght and just bought a mCPx...

RE: mSR vs. mCPX

Ihave had an mSR since X-mas and can fly it very well indoors. Got the mCPx 2 weeks ago and can hardly keep it hovering. For my ability the suplied throttle/pich curves are way too aggressive. To...

RE: mSR beyond control

The rudder servo will move the elevator a bit (built in mixing).

The only issue I have had that caused the heli to go nuts it the swashplate. It would either be separated or the pin would be out...

mCPx Noob Help

Just got a mCPx on Saturday. Been flying a mSR to date.
OK, this will definitely take some time to master.
As a beginner, I feel that the throttle and pitch curves even in the normal mode are too...

RE: blade mSR advice

I have been flying my mSRsince X-mas. The tail will blow out on rapid throttle changes, but holds OK under normal flying conditions. The issue gets worse as battery voltage drops. It should piroutte...

RE: Walkera V400D01

Can a DX6i be bound to a Walkera Heli? I thought I read somewhere that this did not work. Just curious since I'd like to get a DX6i for my mSR but am also looking at getting a V400D02 as my outside...

RE: Walkera V400D01

I'm also looking for the next step after the mSR. Have read many negatives regarding a tail motor instead of a belt drive. Any negatives with the V400D02 since it has a tail motor?

Thanks.

RE: blade msr ok for beginner?

Absolutely OK for beginner. mSR hovers without stick input and is very easy to fly. I was a total noob when I got it as an X-mas gift and took a couple of days of gentle flying to get the general...

RE: Help with flimsy/breakable Blade mSR struts

One solution I found on another forum was to use some electrical tape between the 2 skids to stop them from flexing apart. I did not try this yet since I had already bought the MIA Tuff Struts, but...
