My electric slick just came in and I have a couple of questions for everyone
1. Which control horns go where? There are three different sizes, the single horn I am sure goes where the rudder is but what about the others?
2. Which hole should I be using on the control horns for each surface?
3. The holes are offset slightly, how do i get them both over the hinge line? Or do I try to split the difference?
Thanks for the help!

Thanks!
I got a call from Tom and he let me know. I am about to glue my H-stab on and put my wings on just to make sure everything is square. Is it OK if where the wings meet the fuse there are small gaps near the front for rear of the wing? They are not big at all but it is not a tight to the body fit all along the edge of the wing. Just want to make sure before I glue in the H-Stab. I appreciate the help again!

Tom, if the horizontal stabilzer is off by a few degrees as compard to the wing, will this affect the flight performance much?

Off which way? If the incidence is affected then I'd need to know exactly how much because that can have an effect. If you are talking about a slight variation around the yaw axis that could have a small effect but easily corrected with rudder trim.

I ordered my Edge yesterday, but won't get to see it for a couple of weeks (business trip)
Can someone give me the cockpit width so I can plan my pilot purchase?
Thanks,
Jon

Thanks Doug,
One of the "small" fiberglass helmet head pilots from Hobby King should fit.

I saw this answer someplace, but can't find it now.
4cell, 3500~4000mAh, 25c are the packs of choice (I know some of you are going 6 cell...
)
Just what is being used out there?
Jon

My Slick is coming right along. The only hiccup I've had so far is a broken stringer from shipping (took about 45 seconds to fix) and my slots were not cut for the elevator contol horns (took about 10 minutes to slot them). Tail is all hinged now. Getting ready to move up front and mount the motor.
Jon
P.S. I have maybe about 1.5 hours time in this thus far...maybe...

OOps...next hiccup...no mounting screws to mount the motor "X" mount to the motor itself. Bolts, blind nuts and washers are there to mount the motor to the fuselage, but not for the "X" mount to the motor. Gotto go to Lowes anyway

I concur. Sad to see it die. I'm just getting back into the hobby after 4 years and am VERY excited to see Tom doing electrics. I want one. Bad.
