Ok I'm going to break up this political discussion and resort to going on topic. I want you all to put your thinking caps on and remember back to mid 90s. I know its tough but someone here must have enough metal clarity to remember, I don't. Saito made a twin I think it was bigger than the FA-182 but smaller than a FA-300, what was it and what was it rated at in regards to output?

There's a 200 twin, nearly inline one, more like a halfassed V-twin.

Im looking for the 50-60 range for the Citabria. The plans show a 40something on it. I think the 56 is the same case, and the 62 is the same case as the 56. If I can't find one, I will just get an FG-11 for it.

acdii, if that Citabria is a Great Planes one, I have used a Saito 50 to great effect. 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and works well. You won't need any more at all. Re Saito's at Canowindra would appear as if they were the dominate 4 stroke will give stats etc when I get them if peple are interested.

Besides, I'm with Dave. Trump. If you listen to him when he isn't being badgered to death and he can talk calmly he makes a lot of sense. These reporters are all like my first wife- always nagging the poor guy to death. See Pope- gun control works over here and Trump is proof of it. He has a license and admitted to carrying. If he has a heater under his coat and doesn't go for it with that mob of piranha then he's stable imo.
Its a bit hard to pull his piece out when hes shaking and running like a leaf . It was pretty funny when the guy jumped up on stage and Don nearly soiled his pants . I was waiting for security to grab the guy and then Don to say let him go I'll sort him out . Mind u I would have shat myself in that situation especially after all your political assassinations , lucky they were with pea shooters and not guns cause your gun control works ! Crikey how many Kennedys bit the dust along with Regan copping one and Lincon as well . Im sure others can help me with some more and heck lets not get on the subject of all the school shootings . Whats the mentality behind that stuff . But hey its all light hearted stuff so dont get too wound up .Cheers

Glowy good result with your engine mate and happy days flying it.Good sound and reliable with performance to boot.

Barry everybody remembers climbing up tall trees and walking out on skinny branches swaying in the breeze. That's when you can bet some two stroke gas numbnuts has shinnied up the trunk behind you to cut your branch off with a smelly chainsaw.Inconsiderate twits never run castrol r in them,at least that smells good on the way down.

ps politics is meaningless just depends on what flavour bs you like at the time, you could compare it to a woman shopping for fashion, every ten or twenty years your buying the same clothes you threw out back then.No rant but that's it for me.

Default FA-270 Product Review

I happened to find this engine review on the 270 by Clarence Lee in the old RCM

Thanks guys that is what I was looking for. I have a project that the prototype used the FA-270 twin to power it. The twin is a little beyond my budget I need to find a single cylinder (preferably glow) capable of same power range and swinging about the same size prop.

Here is my 2.20 wearing a Mejzlick 18x8 at about 45 minutes total run time. It turned a Just Engines Jen-C, (re-badged Biela) 20x6 at 9,150. All on 10% fuel.

I still have an extra Saito 2.20. Its just sitting on a shelf, doing nothing. Looking for a good home. Only one season of flying, ys20/20 fuel is all its ever drank. I fly my 1/4 scale DVII with my seven year old 2.20 and a Xoar 20 x 8 prop.
It could be the motor you are looking for. Shoot me a line if you think about it. I will let it go, but I won't GIVE it away. If not, that's OK too.

Tenpting but I have to wait. I found out last week I'm being laid off this Friday. It really puts a kink in the ole modelling budget.

Well that just sucks! In the future when you find the job of your dreams, just holler, its not going anywhere soon.
