I have my timer set to 4:30 with the stock setup, 5000 6S packs. I'm not full throttle the entire time but still flying aggressively. Batteries are about perfect discharge amount on landing....

It looks to me like that update is to update the 11X Zero to XG11 specs. It does not apply to the JRHH DSM2/DSMX based radios. I hope HH eventually supplies an update for us.

The JR11X as currently offered by HH is DSM2/DSMX compatable. The new JRXG11 is not compatable. At this point you have to view them as different radio systems.

If you want a good manual, download the XG11 manual from JR. The XG has some additional features, but the features that are common to both work pretty much the same. The XG manual is pretty good.

I've been using a 2 gig SkanDisk card with no issues, and no slow down in boot time.

The card slot is in the battery compartment.

Try this. Since you want to control your brakes with one of the levers, use that lever as the Master, and your brake channel as the slave. The levers are labele LLVR for Left Lever, and RLVR...

30 hours seems a bit long to me.  I'm guessing I spent about 1/2 that, and I'm not a fast builder.  Maybe 30 hours if you sat around and watched the glue dry. LOL!
