RE: sig kobra!

I have one with a Webra .32, and it's a great flier. I like running an APC 9-8 propellor on it. I really enjoyed the build.

RE: Sig Kobra engine

I'm in the process of building a kobra and have a Norveel Ax-40 to put in it. A Fox 40 would be even be bit lighter.

RE: Show Your Sig SE's

Here's mine. It's built stock. I haven't flown it yet. The engine is a Irvine .53 Mk II. It weighs 5.25lbs. The colour scheme is based on Denny Dobson's Extra 300. The bottom is solid Cub yellow.

RE: Senior Telemaster flaps and modifications

Thank you, flyingvranch.

I've seen your "quasi fowler flaps" design in other threads and I think that I will try it on a Senior Telemaster kit build.

RE: Pecking order

My first engine was a Fox .40 BB deluxe (with the air-bleed EZ-carb). I followed the instructions that came with it and had fine performance and reliability from the start. Many gallons have been...

RE: New Dirty Birdy

Does anyone have any opinions on how suitable an Irvine .53 mkIII on a pipe would be for a 60-sized dirty birdy? (The mkIII is the British-made engine, not the more recent version made by OS.) It has...

RE: os irvine 53 cylinder peeling

Well, here are the pictures. The first one shows the peeling, or perhaps gouge, on the inside of the cylinder. I can feel that it is there with my finger. The second one shows some peeling on the...

RE: os irvine 53 cylinder peeling

The Irvine 53 MkII is clearly advertised by Ripmax as being an ABC engine (see http://www.ripmax.com/item.asp?itemid=L-IRV5531). Either this is incorrect, the chromium plating for these engines is...

RE: Whatever happened to the kits?

I had a talk today with a fellow relatively new to R/C flying. He has an ARF, and he was complaining about the quality of the covering material and some aspects of the structural design. I said that...

RE: Goldberg Extra 300

I can appreciate that aluminum or carbon fibre landing gear looks more scale-like than the bare stock wire landing gear, and that carbon fibre gear may be lighter, but aside from this are there any...
