RE: deans plug

the only reason to use anything other than a deans ultra is if you are an idiot or have a car smaller than 18th, such as a micro t. the deans ultra fit just fine in my 18t and like someone said,...

RE: Ultimate Drift rc18t?

i think this is a silly idea in the first place. if you want to drift you should get a touring car, drifting an 18t would require drastic setup changes that would make it a pain in the butt to use...

RE: MLST Mamba 6800 or Mamba 8000?

the mamba motor is too small for the mlst, yes it will work, but not as well as a motor like the wraith or a similar one. i think the hyperion motors worked pretty well in the mlst if i remember...

RE: what motor for rs4 micro???

if you want the fastest then it has to be brushless. a brushless kit will run you around 100-150 for the motor and esc. other than that i have heard good things about the baja motor ( i think thats...

RE: which is better, pro-line bow tie or assoc. pins

it depends completely on what surface you are going to be racing/bashing on. try em both out and decide for yourself.

RE: Just got my rc18t for Xmas

the sloppy steering is a problem with all rc18ts. there are a few of things you can do to make it better. the first one would be to buy a drag link from www.drivenpro.net, the second is to use a...

RE: Gear cover for rc18t to keep out rocks!

there is a search function for a reason. driven productions gear cover has been out for quite a while now, probably over a year. check out www.drivenpro.net to order one.

RE: Pro pulse, rc18b, or vendetta

there is so much hating on the pro pulse on this forum, i dont understand it. its a good product that is made by an actual hobby company (its made by megatech, not radioshack). the only problem...

RE: which shock towers should i get?

they will obviously be weaker than aluminum, but you may not have a problem. i have never broken a single part on my truck and i crash it all the time, although its usually just a massive set of...

RE: Many ppl Have been Complaining....

that was not only pointless, but if people dont understand the concept of the search button after someone posts a reply about it in every repetative thread then its a lost cause.

RE: A review of the MIP Diff cups for the RC18T MT B

yeah, i run lipo and brushless and from everything i have read its just not a good idea to let the diffs slip at all if you are running anything more than a brushed motor. if it works for you then...

RE: Brushless setup for all mini's

I run a RC18T factory team. i use the tekin 6.8kv system which has a 25 amp esc. i run a 1500mah 2s lipo (20c) and a 1200mah 3s lipo (20c). to the best of my knowledge that truck runs about 45mph...

RE: Charger

try b-p-p.com. they have some really cheap apache chargers that work pretty well. i emailed them and they said they are fine if you just want to charge lipos and nothing else.

RE: Should we seperate 1/16th and 1/18th to their own forums?

i wish there were seperate forums for racers and bashers. i think that for the most part the 1/16 scale vehicles are not really that much bigger than the 1/18 so i see no point in seperating them.

RE: are minis really that fun?

to me i like that i can drop a fraction of what it would take to make nice 1/10th into my rc18t and have it do 45mph flat out, run for 20-30 mins per battery, and break zero parts doing it. to me...
