I have to agree with Opjose. It sounds like you are going into a "LVC" or Low voltage cutout. More than likely the battery is being over-amped. You could try a higher "C" rated battery, for instance...

2mm of gap is too much space to have inbetween your blades and shroud. You will definitely lose alot of velocity. on the flip side being to close is no good either. I strive for about 1-1.2mm...

Your receiver, xtal or tx is bad. Its not in programming mode, Opjose quit telling people they are in programming mode when they get 10 beeps. Programming mode is different. Music followed by beeps....
