What is this flying wing you are suggesting is better than the Gremlin. Do you have templates? that's a good looking wing.

That looks like an old LDM kit. They are long out of production. I seem to recall they had an F-16, F-15 and maybe one other. I wish someone would bring them back. I have the F-15 NIB I'm holding for...

For $35 you can have a genuine Gremlin AND support the people that took the time to develop and bring it to us in the first place, RA Cores.

Yes, I am running 3.8's as we speak on a .15 Pro powered T-Maxx Classic. I too just restored this one. I changed the clutch to 16 teeth and spur to 72 teeth to lower the gearing to make up for the...

RE: Oil to gas ratio

No, Amsoil works. I competed in IMAC with 2 DA-150's for 3 years on Amsoil 100:1 mixed at 100:1. My 10+ year old backpack blower gets 100:1. My 1983 Force 85hp outboard used it too.

RE: NEW DLE30!

Same as Greg. Mix of IMAC and full power on 12 minute flight leaves about 1/2 tank.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

I managed to run a drill through the corner of the fuel tank while I was drilling to run the throttle wire. It turns out that the Avistar 46 ARF Trainer tank that Omnimodels lists is the same 270ml...

RE: Plane size

No minimum size for IMAC. 80" or 1/4 scale for IMAA. Bigger flies better and even for Basic I would not go smaller than 1/4 scale. For Basic it does not have to be the style of airframe that is super...

RE: No more ARF's for me

Contact SIG about Koverall on your 120 before you go any further. There should have been a note in your manual to absolutely NOT use fabric covering on the 4 Star 120 as the Monokote type covering is...

RE: Engine & Pipe for Outlaw delta ARF?

I have a Mecoa 28 on a Mousse can muffler on my new Outlaw and it is crazy fast. I have no idea why you would need more. You guys thinking 40 and above I think are making a mistake. The manufacturer...

RE: TT .91 Pro (2-stroke) vs. ST .90

As long as you know how to tune the Super Tigre carbs it is not worth the difference. If ST carbs give you nightmares, the Thunder Tiger is always a good way to go. I have owned a number of Thunder...

RE: Kraft .61 motor

I have three of these engines (RJL version). They are sweethearts. Easy to tune, very forgiving and hand prop on first try bouncing them off compression. I'm using the stock Perry carbs. They will...

RE: COMBAT FUN FLY - Bowling Green KY

I'm close enough to come play some weekend but I made the mistake of building my Battle-Axe too nice. New gear, new engine and took the time for low temp covering. I have to scratch it up somehow so...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

I'm using an RJL/Kraft 61 and it is a great fit in the small Revolver. I have plenty of power and I have no issues with slowing the plane down on landing though I keep reading in this thread that...

RE: Nitroplanes Shipped Junk Seniorita

I just opened the box to my Airbourne Models Tamecat 40. It's replacing a Hangar 9 Tango that I use for Winter ski flying. The Tango was ok but the covering job was always loosening at seams even...

RE: Megatech 46 anyone running one?

Well, they obviously aren't popular now! :) I have two of them and they look like a typical .46 2 stroke and they have a great feel to them. The first one is going on the new version of a Haslam...

RE: hey guys, whats you're favorite glo plug for winter?

Yes as a matter of fact. I dont take a starter to the field. If I can't hand start any of my glow engines, 2 or 4 stroke, I'm probably having a tuning issue that would only be masked by grinding away...

RE: LIST YOUR FAVORITE TWO CYCLE GLO ENGINES

Mecoa .46
Mecoa .25
Aviastar .46
Thunder Tiger Pro .61
RJL/Kraft .61

If I could only pick one, the Mecoa .46 for user friendliness, power, consistancy and durability.

RE: hey guys, whats you're favorite glo plug for winter?

Below 40 degrees you can preheat with a hair dryer. I run the OS #8 in the hot or the cold and I fly a lot in Winter. Preheat with the hair dryer long enough so the engine doesnt feel cold any more....

RE: Megatech 46 anyone running one?

It's likely named after Chris Chianelli who was big into R/C, especially cars. He eventually found his way to the DIY Network before passing away in his sleep a year or so back. He was a goofy, over...

Megatech 46 anyone running one?

I have managed to get my hands on two of the Megatech 46 engines now. They seem like typical ABC 2 stroke glow 46 engines. They have great compression and are very free turning otherwise. The first...
