Saw Luke fly his again today, he is getting far too good a flyer. He was doing rolling harrier loops today [8D]

Didnt get mine out the car, was raining when I got to the field, so left it there. Havent flown it for about a month now . Hopefully next weekend will be better weather.

This is what I'm trying to achieve....

Will get a decal sheet for the CAPICHE 140 text on the fuselage....

I found a font that was not far out, but I don't have that font on my PC.. looks a bit like Gill Sans

Regards,

Steve

OK baron i'll try and get that done for the website. Will try to get round to doing some proper videos of the C140 too, but not satisfied with my flying yet.

If you want to know first hand ask welsh 3d because i bet he can do it whilst looking at the Tx so he knows what inputs hes giving

ive no idea what the inputs are but i think it would look like a bit of a rolling harrier but with throttle for a loop, with rudder and elevator switching over the top half.

Getting there slowly, though it looks more like a can of Red Bull at the moment...

Assured by Luke's mate that pearly white looks nice in sunlight!!

I think I'm going to be tail heavy, anyone know of strong light servos that I can Put 2 in the rear fuz for elevators??

There are some 6.6kg Hitec digis [email protected] 6965HB Karbonite gear. would prefer to stick to JR, but 8411s will be two heavy and overkill??

I'm using 8411 on ailerons, and 8511 on rudder.

Steve

Sprink,

It's Pearlescent Purple, or 'PERLMUTT VIOLET' in Oracover language.....

It looks pretty good to me... (much better than the white!!)

looking good Berk....

Wait and see how your balance turns out - mine was okay with 2 x 9206 down the back and the battery just ahead of the cg... also re your throttle servo position - you MIGHT need to change it ... I put mine underneath the box, right behind the throttle arm on the YS...... made a new hole I think, cant remember now...

Throttle servo installation..

Pushrod is on thickest servo arms, 2 * M2 locknuts, threadlocked with loctite 648 [X(][X(][X(] adjustment not possible.....

The servo operates the throttle in a slop-free manner, with no twisting of the pushrod, so seems ok... will try it and see....

Steve

I put my throttle servo underneath aswell, and no trouble with balance with two rear servos.

new axi motor is out, the 5330/18, might try that as it's half the price of the hacker, but 4ozs heavier.

yep they made them too small so you have to do that so that they can strecthc over the fuz. The big hole is Good for cooling though, but still[:-]

Luke [:-]

All mine have been cut back like this. It works gives great access, cooling etc

Berk it will be lighter too

Berk I noticed your throttle servo is mounted on the outside. I had to mount mine from the inside as a 148 was catching the cowl.

Cowl not too small... designed to force you to create max weight saving and cooling !!!

I was gonna mention the cowl impact on servo too...watch out for this...
