Must be some serious hangar damage caused by carelessness. but better to fail on ground than in the air

I saw the capiche 50 at sandown and can somebody tell where to get the plan or kit from. I already have large size aerobatic and 3d planes but fancy a hack round model in the 50/70 size market.

Can some also say how long it takes to put together.

One person put it together faster than some ARTFs.

I cant remember who it was but Im sure someone on this thread did it 10 hours, which is like 2 hours monday to friday.

Its an easy kit to build though and enjoyable.

Philibaby built it in a week, but he was off work at the time. Took me 3 weeks of evenings and a bit of weekends. It is not difficult to build.

I set myself a target of 3weeks. Im at the end of week 2 and i have the fuz, tail plane, fin, rudder, elevater and main part of the wings done. Only really got the ailerons to do. Then onto the nitty gritty and covering, should be abled to get it ready to fly by next week end.

the wood bits are quick, the rest takes as long as any other plane.
i rebuilt my fuz as quick as the old plane, not bad seeing as i rescued and used 50% of the old fuz.

Mine took about two months. But that did include waiting for bits to turn up and dawdling over the colour scheme.Seriously though, the build is not like traditional kits, virtually everything is cut & it just clips together real easy.
Had my first flight since Sandown today, after ironing all the rinkles out. Moved the c of g back to 135mm as well. It flew really good but I almost dinged it! I did an elevator then into a harrier at the bottom( at about 10 ft up) but the plane kept sinking at a fair rate!More throttle quickly & the tail touched on the way out! If only I had intended it to[8D] My first tail touch an all!

Giles 202 a big very nice on, not nice to see it go.
Me, got glitches when flying a friends tutor 40, got away with it, torn undercariiage.
25% Extra I think

Well, I was sanding off one tail block and shaping it when some bird flew into my shed (I left the soor open it was very hot), it then flew around into the ceiling and did a crap which just missed me and hit my plan instead, I managed to catch it with my Mirage box and it walked off.

Tail blocks were glued in ok nice and straight, I shaped and sanded one of the blocks off and I'll leave the other for tomorrow.

Almost finished the fuz! Albiet dodgily but almost done!

wahey!

the plane was ok, the plan was torn where i tried to wipe the poop off. Bird poo is acidic, dont want the ink smudging!

well Im off to finish the other tail block, and maybe see how the fin fits. Though ill leave F1 for tomorrow, I have to see where I can get the trottle things in, will be a bit fiddly with the plane assmebled but I can use some fuel tube to dop cyano in to hold the snake.

No, they are def for the firewall, I may be an idiot but I am not THAT stupid. The ones for the engines are nylon m3 I think or something like that.

Well I don't feel like building anymore for some reason, its not the mount its just frustration for some reason, hmmm, well, I might get the tailplane/rudd done soon which is the easiest bit so far, I am not looking forward to the wing.

Shahid, the bolts are only just long enough to start with but once assembled are fine. You have to put the bolts through the mount and into the rubber section BEFORE the parts are fitted to the bulkhead. Even like this you may have to give the rubber nuts a squeeze to get them started on the threads.Only wind them on about 1 turn before then feeding the rubbers through the holes in the bulkhead & then tighten them up.
