dont bother with the tank position on the 50 - not worth the aggro.
With a pumped engine just push to back as far as it will go - ie between the wing cheeks.

We cant fly thursdays as well, what servos are you using Ian, I gots 3004's on tail and 3003's on everything else. Hoping someday to upgrading to 9202's all around and something fast on thottle to improve response as the Irvine is limited to the FPS 148 I gots on it in the Capiche testbed.

Island hobbies needs to outsource to malaysia or something...

Well im building the wing and pics to come soon but I think I will stop where I am (gluing false trailing edge WST) because I still aint happy if it straight or not, it seems straight and the board checked out but I still aint 100%, any tricks for finding out if it is or not? Thw top of the wing is flat to the board and when I put a long metal ruler against the bottom spar it didnt lie flat???
Thanks
Shahid

I may have misunderstood you here Malcolm I know it tapers wing section thickenss wise (thats where it gets dihedral from, right? The variation in thickenss>
but if its a constant reduction in thickenss towards the tip it still should lie flat on the spar? I will have to show you guys a pic.
Ok this aint the actual pic but its a quick drawing I snapped up
The ruler lies flat for a portion then it all goes miffy

the top of the wing is flat, the bottom aint.
theres very few people in the world that would even notice a slight difference even if yours is curve, not straight from root to tip.

i meant I'm not sure it has a curve persay, but to get all things right the top of the wing is flat, the dihedral is made by the angle on the bottom, it shouldn't matter if this is straight or curve flying wise, if the top of the wing is flat then due to the excellent CNC work the bottom WILL!!!!! be right.
unless it's the FF wing
Same section but it morphs in thickness.

Just build it
