Thanks to all on the input. Anyone here have a 7CAPS with the UCD? If possible drop me an email, [email protected] or if familiar with Ventrilo I run a Ventrilo server. Would really appreciate discussing the setup with you guys.

raideron,Do you fly yours with the 82? How do you like it? Seems like that would be a good setup. I've seen eariler posts where people are very satisfied with this engine. But the hot set up seems to be the 100.!?@?.,?
Are the UCDs snappy?
Futaba or JR?
Thanks
Bud

38...Keep us appraised of that Showtime. I don't fly in the winter either. Well....except for the Typhoon. And it's not really flying. What are you powering your Showtime with? I've heard they are wonderful planes.
Thanks,
Bud

Jack211 Hi jack... Its a 46 size Katana V2 profile with detachable wings from ohio
model products.. You see a lot of their ads on this site... Here's a link:
http://ohiomodelproducts.com/48katanaarf/
I'll be using the YS-63... If I ever get it done... I'm a bit slow...
CofG... I used to fly mine with the YS 63, then went to the S-100/16X4W.. Talk about
power and moving air.... WoW... But she died, due to a battery solder joint that broke
But another will soon be up... But the Showtime may be up first if the post office takes
too long... The "Do" is not snappy at all, Great flyer.... But I guess it could snap around
if you slam the sticks around hard..... I now have an RD 8000 Airtronics, with Hitec on
board stuff.... But wanting to switch to the JR 9 channel radio... But I need to find $$$$$$
Hey Gary....... I do, and I did from time to time..... He got really really shy....
Going to the field in the AM.... Won't fly any of my planes... Have to do some training..
Hope when I do get some planes together.... I hope my fingers know how to act
))
OK Gary... you were on of the first with the 100....... Now 125???????????????

Barry's a great guy and I really enjoy his input and wisdom. I don't think he flies inverted as much so that's a good thing. [8D]

CofG,
i have a magnum 120 4 stroke on it, i have not run it yet ang i might do it in march as well
i have 5 Hitec HS-5955TG servos for aal the surfaces execpt the trottle
for it a have a futaba standed servo
i changed my mind on the battery, i'm going to use a lipoly unsted of the NI-MH
i used all the hard ware that came with it
and i still have only an hour left in it to finish it
i think i have 15 hours in it

Hello Raideron. I looked at the Ohio Model Website that you mentioned. Really like the look of the Katana V2 46. How does it fly? Do you recommend it? The wing looks like the wing on the Twist. How is their quality? Any comments would be appreciated. I am thinking or ordering one. Jim Tucker

perkinsm My finger still hurts when its cold from wrestleing with my Saito 80. 125 would take it off.
Just happen to know that Clancy has a new 125 setting around. Maybe he will loan it to me. Not!
Here is my next project if picture loads. It's a Morris Hobbies Big Boy. (80" wing) 120 Saito for it. Still love my UCD. Hope weather warms up a litttle. 40 degrees is my lower limit.

38...Thanks for the pic...that's a great looking ST. That magnum will fly it great. I've heard those are very fun airplanes. One of the best in KE and pattern like maneuvers. THe SFGs help it be unique. They make the KE slow and high alpha and the flats flatter and more UCD like but I don't think the ST will do a rising flat spin. Not like the UCD or Mayhem or such. At least that's what I've heard. Where did you mount your rudder servo?
raideron...
Do I understand you correctly? You are going to the field but NOT taking a plane?!?!?!? And your weather is fine? What's wrong with you?
Rob Clement RC...
Flying inverted is almost as bad as flying upside down.
Thanks

dougwill...Nice looking picture...plane not the girl?!?! That plane looks very similar to a Ultra Stick Lite. How are you going to set it up? The sticks can be very fun to fly and easy. Of course when you are in the UCD thread, easy is realitive as the UCDs are super easy to fly. I've seen the Ultra Stick in person. It does amazing upright flat spins. It will hover and fly just like an airplane. The one I've seen has a YS110 and weights about 9 lbs. This "Big Boy" looks very close to the same. I'll bet you love it. Borrow your buddies Saito 125 and put on the nose. I'll bet that would be a great combo.
Thanks
Bud
