Many modelers have purchased my wing "N"numbers and the Beechcraft script logo. There are photos of the TF Beech model with my items on them in this Thread.

I guess it's pages back, because I was just asked about them. Here's a photo.

Could someone please send me a photo of their model sporting the "N" numbers and Beech script logo, that I made? I would appreciate it.

Never did receive the "Beech" Logo
Forgive me, or, I believe they were in there? [sm=bananahead.gif]

PM me your address and I'll get a set out to you pronto.

Please take some photos after you apply the Beech logo, they will look nicer. I need good photos.

OK? OK!

Its a 50cc 4 stroke gasser made by Moki...
A guy was selling one in the swap shop for 600$... but said it was NIB, but yet he had a video of it running on
youtube???
I was going to buy it but I had second thoughts...
I have a hard time buying a used engine from someone I do not know personally....
Someone else picked it up....
Was it you??
Nice engine, either way....
The price is over the top though...
I picked up a 7-cyl 70cc radial engine.... as it was the same price....
This pict is not my engine, as it will be here in a couple 2-3 weeks....

I have thought about taking the Cowl on this plane and making the version that has the Wacco type round cowl
THe radial would then fit....

What is the max 2-blade prop one can fit on this one???

Re the prop size, what is it? Hard to answer without that information...
But looking at the size of it compared to the hand that's holding it, looks like it's way too big to fit on the front of the Top Flite Staggerwing. Maybe a Ziroli.
Remember, this airplane was designed around the OS Max160 2-cycle.

No I didn't buy it recently... But for $600 bucks it is a nice deal though.
That is a huge radial and really nice, but I stopped using glow a long time ago, it was either gas or electric.
I'll keep you guys posted.

I just finished drilling those Robarts, what a pain in the a$% and after that I broke my 4-40 tap[:@], but finally finished with the retracts.

Now comes the fun part, installing the engine[X(]

I use a 20 x 8 and have plenty of ground clearance. 22" shouldn't be a problem.

I went throught my entire plane today....
everything went great except for one thing....
The bottom right wing had the endcap placed on it incorectly, causing alignment issues....
Being the bottom wing is already discontinued, I can only conclude that they
had issues with this on other beeches..???

I am going to call them up tommorow and see what we can work out....

The fist pict shows were it should have been cut (they outline it...really paying attention there worker!)
the best part is the QC stamp on the wing in green!![>:]

The 2nd show how it looks....

I can take the end hardwood off the wing, and move it to the appropriate
place, ( where the factory worker should have placed it!!)
for a great OEM looking fix...

That engine's a horse. Very impressive.
Re the wing. This happened to a few of them early on and is discussed towards the front of this thread. There's a relatively simple fix. Just cut a piece of ply to the correct shape and epoxy it into place behind the improperly drilled hole. I used a few pieces of bamboo skewer to pin it in place. Once it cures, drill the hole in the correct location and you're done. Problem solved. Took about half an hour not counting cure time.
Good luck and keep us posted on that engine.

Yes you missed the plane....It is not discontinued....
It has been marked down to 350$ for quite some time 1-year I believe..??

Like a said earlier....
Other manufactures (like Aero-works) would be charging 800-1000$ for this plane...

I am very happy I have mine....

Also...
haven't had the time to call tower up ABOUT the wing...

Hey gang: and Charles

first off Thank you Charles for sending the Beech Logo: however, where exactly is it going to go: as the real Logo goes on the "Fin" which is where Top Flite put the numbers. The Rudder I assume?????

Well guys...

If you are on the fence for radial engines or Multi cyl engines from saito, Nows the time to pick one up...

I just looked at Advantage hobby....
They have marked down ALL there Saitos... There 5-cyl saito to 1500$!!

That is ROLL back pricing!....
Horrizon has them at 2000$ now...

I wanted a inline 200Ti, and that is priced great as well, for 700$....

The seidel is taking forever to be instock and it is too big for this plane...

BUT...THe saito 5-cyl will fit....

I may get it tonight....
