Oh, those were the good ol days. The scary part was standing on that old floating dock. When it flew over my head I almost feel back into the water. Those were good times.

I also came across a brand new ( 1 flight on it) YS 140 just sitting in the corner. I'm not gonna give this away but I don't need it so if anyone is interested PM me and make an offer.

Billy, Your old girl is all cleaned up and waiting on her new power plant.. Pictures to follow tomorrow.. I think the Beaver made a new friend last night I came out this morning and found her shacked up with my big cub on floats.. Man the Yak is gona be pissed when hears about this....

I was at the field this morning, very high winds. At about 4:45PM, I was at Lake Balboa (other end of the park) and notices a load of black smoke rising from the direction of the field. Did a jet go down? Any ideas?

Black smoke is more likely a car fire. Brush fires tend to give off white smoke and after the small amount of kero is burned from a turbine crash all you really have is a brush fire.
