Maybe next year when I start my B-17 project I will be in the market for at least 1 if not 2 .91 FS. I have 2 Magnum .91 that I know of, maybe 3, but will need 4 total. Depending on what I find on hand, I don't remember if the 3rd engine is a Saito or a Magnum, but if Magnum then I will look for a pair of Saito 91, this way I can balance out the power with one of each on each wing. At least this way I won't have roll issues when one group of engines can spin up faster than the other, as may be the case between the two different brands. The Magnums are more OS like than Saito like. Should have no issues flying a 1/8th B-17 on four .91 four strokes.

Not new, but my only glow 2 stroke. It was a real stuck mess when I got it, castor coated and completely stuck. I need to soak it again as it it stuck again. Some residual remains, even the 3m oil isnt helping.

Usually a squirt of DA on the carb and the exposed piston will free it up, haven't tried yet. This engine was so gummed up the bearings were chunky. After soaking for a couple days in an enclosed can, they smoothed out and the brown gunk coming out was ugly. What I need is an ultrasonic cleaner, that should clean it up without having to tear it down. Right now I am looking for parts for the Magnums. I found the third engine and the spring for the adjustment needle is broke. It was a brand new engine too.

I went down stairs and looked threw me magnum parts they are for a 52-61 there’s some seals throttle springs and a few other other things. If have any need for them pm me address and I’ll send it them to you.

Xylene, I think I may have some, it is a thinner for Herculiner, so I did use it, just don't recall if I have any left. I'll give it a try and see if it indeed gets the rest of the gum out.
My Corsair has been pushed to the back corner for the moment. Helping a friend out with his PT boats. He attempted to make molds of the cabin pieces and they came out very rough, damaging the plugs he was going to use on his boat. He repaired the cabins and I have them now all polished, waxed, and mounted on the form. Will start the first half on each tomorrow, let them cure a few days before releasing the parts and cleaning the clamping parts, then wax them, and make any corrections to the plug before joining them back to make the other half. He made them one piece which is fine for some designs, but with squared corners and flat walls, he couldn't get them out, so I am making two piece molds for him. No chances of the parts getting stuck and much easier to pop the finished parts out too. He used polyester resin for the molds, and had a ton of air bubbles and pull out from the matting, plus the resin was too thick. Showing him how much nicer the molds come out using epoxy resin instead. I found TotalBoat epoxy which is half the cost of West Systems and just as good.

Dave, assuming you measured the piston pin to piston crown as shown in the pic it's 6.25 mm. The top of the piston is dead flat with valve reliefs. The rod measures 42.94 mm center to center. This 150 has a "K" marked on the lug.

Acdii I’ll ship out in the morning hopefully there is something in there you can use if not it didn’t cost you anything. I also threw in an extra I have no use for and you might not either. If not trash it.
