The motorless mount we are driving for is the sometimes self grenading Phoenix 90 Waco. Nice big round cowl hehe. This one has been tossed around without exploding supposedly.
Brother Brian's is still intact after lots o goofy 3d stuff. But he won't sell it to me. He has a big twin gasser in his. I sort of snicker as he goes by upside down at a hunnerd clicks an hour. Mines deep down in Dixie Land.
I have five of those cans I emptied last season Gary. Right on track with the correct hazmat labeling. Probably a better plan anyway. Specially if the PoPo ( classic Jim!!) noticed an out of state CDL A when they demanded my "papers" . the Queen would be incredulous as she burned holes with those lovely green eyes. I was thinking the pony drum would be more convenient in the fuel dump. It's close to the ammo dump. Near the......

Using the 5 gallon, steel VP M-1 empties. Pretty stout cans and already properly labled.
I buffer in between the cans with styrofoam and secure well.
And yes, a sharp eye in the rear view when stopping. Something all surviving motorcyclists learn about
That keen eye as well as keeping a viable escape path ahead, even when it means stopping a car length behind the car ahead. I know you know what I mean.

And you know I have worn out plenty old Iron. I hardly pilot the old drum and juice breaks with the cell phone operators in 4 000 pound bullets....used to be just drunks and whitetails trying to kill us.

Those Ann Arbor $55 cans were $35 cans at the local auto parts last summer.
The bulk sales place in PA is charging $2.70 per gallon, your container. They do deliver for free to certain areas but not Michigan.
I never make a special run but I do pick some up when passing thru

Just layin the options on the table.
Thankfully the fuel is still a bargain either way.
From a fire / explosion risk, gaspoline is far more hazardous than methanol.

My humble take based on my personal use of "sandpaper" In floor finishing any way, abrasives are generally silicon carbides or ceramic media broken into regulated *grit sizes" then electrostatic bonded to either cloth or paper backings. I.E. 40- 50 grit roughing paper, 60-80 grit mid cut, 100-120 finishing cuts. The ceramic types maintain their edge longer as they withstand and shunt heat better and re brake as they go exposing new geometric shaped edges. Older types dull the edges of the carbide and escalate with heat and exposure to the wood. Eventually loading behind the cutting edge increasing heat and dulling until it won't cut anymore and burnishes the wood instead. Return on in investment is lost, the abrasive belt, disc or drum cover or screen mesh disc is discarded.
Back in my early stamping plant life, metals were abraded with 'emory cloth" (harder media) I. E. high carbon steel, to diamond dust type medias. Bet Gary can better "Open" that can o worms....lmho.

I would like to buy a bench belt sander, but I need a new toolbox much more. I hope to buy one in a few weeks. I will buy a 7 or 8 drawer rolling unit, 26x21x40.

well I did, it's a story too.
I don't need a big named box because I won't be opening it 30, 40 times a day. know what I mean. but I know what I want, as said I want a 21x 26x 40 roller. 7 or 8 drawers. I looked and looked on Googe Images for a week or so. I found them in 5 to 8 drawers, I want at least 3 shallow drawers because most my tools are hand tools. in short I went to Harbor Freight and they have an 8 drawer just what I want for $350. like I said I don't need a Snapon.
here is what happened,
A) so I got a HF C-Card so I can get 10% off. ($350-10% = $315)
B) I held off on buying for a few weeks. kept looking on Google Images at other boxes.
C) gee-golly,, happy happy joy joy the HF box went on sale for 15% off ($350-15% = $297)
D) so I should get both discounts because my card was never used!!!!!!!!
E) so my price should have been $267,,, ($350-15% = $297 -10% =$267)
F) went to the store to buy it.
G) as I looked at the box a guy that worked at the store told me that I will get both discounts because my C-Card was never used!
H) went to the cashier to buy the box and the Card Reader would not give me the $10% off my card. the lady told me it was "because I got the card from off the HF home-page and NOT threw the store". so the lady then said if I canceled the card she can get me another card threw the store and I will get both discounts. so she watched me cut the card up, and she signed me up,,, and guess what, I could not get another card for a week and the sale ended in 2 days.
J) S.O.B,, went home mad!
K) I called HF and I was told that what the lady told me was not true, and I should have got both discounts. but HF would not help me get the card discount because it was a discount the bank gives.
L) I called the store's manager, and he would not help me.
M) the end result; no HF tool box and as long as I live I will never look to buy from Harbor Freight again!!!
I found a 7 drawer roller at Jegs that I figured I would buy for the same price $350 and shipping was free, but today it's gone and Sumet has it for over $700 and shipping is NOT free.
well, I figure I have gone almost a life time without a drawer type rolling tool box. so I guess I can go the rest of my life without one.

I bought this one when I bought the Lathe, it holds all the lathe accessories in the drawers and lawn equipment batteries in the top. Made in Sedalia, Mo. @ $159.00. It has nice precise drawer sliders.

Don't know if you have Menards Stores in your area but they also sell boxes that are very similar to price and style.
No real reason to buy Snap-On for use around the house, the new big store boxes suffice just fine for most folks.
Sorry about the screw-up they hammered you with, hope you do get what you are looking for.

Gary, I installed these little fellers in the Webra 20, they are the same size, the 20 has some serious compression.
Can't load picture, I'll be back. The site keeps telling me that there is a Security Code missing. The engine image loaded, unusual carb mount. The bearing dimensions are 19 x 10 x 5.

Nice engine Dave. I have a classic Webra Silverline 61 in a parts bucket I should get to one of these days.
After loosening & cleaning up the Magnum Pro 45 on my Force One I decided to go on an engine cleaning spree. Here’s my latest batch of ready to go refreshed engines.
The LA 40 was a pain in the butt. 4 of the screw heads were stripped 2 of which required grinding a slot across the head to extract them. The screws are pretty soft and doesn’t take much to slip and strip them. I sure wish people would invest in the proper JIS screwdriver sets or leave them alone.
The Irvine 53 I got super lucky with. It was almost seized and the bearings felt very rough. The internals looked brand new so I just oiled it and now it’s super smooth with awesome compression. Love these engines!
The Saito 56 bk was basically seized as well and very gunky but cleaned up very nicely. Most of the parts went through an ultrasonic bath but the crankcase was cleaned with raw fuel and the bearings are very smooth now. I found a rocker arm screw was damaged as if the pushrod popped out of it. Weird. Luckily my LHS had some in stock. Not sure how to clean the muffler better (oven cleaner)? A valve adjustment and a $10 prop nut stopper is all it needs now.

36 to 48 hours using full strength Green Conventional Antifreze in a crock pot set to 170°f will remove all the carbon from all the engine parts without discoloring the parts in any way. No Ultrasonic cleaner needed.
The nightmares you've heard about engine discoloring using antifreeze are true, if you allow the solution to get too hot. I have yet to have one discolor at 170°f.

I bought a US General Yellow tool box. I watched comparison videos between it and Husky and a few others, including Snap On. The US General boxes are very robust. I got the big one, then last week bought the tool cart too and already have it put to use. Most HF stuff is junk, but some of it is also quality, just have to be vigilant on what you get.
I had issues with Tractor Supply. They supposedly "price match" up to 30 days after purchase. BS. I bought a flatbed trailer, then a few days later saw that Northern Tool had the exact same trailer for $100 less. I contacted them to price match, they wouldn't do it, claiming it wasn't the same trailer, yet, I had the paperwork showing the model number and the NT ad had the exact same model number. They refused to honor it. So, yeah I avoided TS for 3 years, they lost a lot of business from me and others.

When my Snap-on tool chest got stolen back in 94-95 I bought a Husky tool chest set, lower/upper, and loaded it up with Husky "pro" tools. The roller bearing drawers have worked flawlessly for over 25 yrs, as have the tools. I have only replaced a 3/8 ratchet, 1/4" drive 9mm deep well socket and a 3/8" drive #25 Torx, all caused by abuse. I'm quite impressed with the durability, I use the crap out of them.
I walked into HD last fall with the stripped out 3/8" ratchet with no receipt and they handed me a replacement. The ratchet seems every bit as nice as the original but I have no idea how well the tool chests are made these days.

guys, I have to wonder if Gary knows my mind is always stirring when thinking glow engines. I mean why not, his does. I say this because Gary gave me 4 old HP 40s. 2 are front Carb RC 40s. and 2 are rear Carb CL 40s. one of the RC 40s is in very-very good shape. it has very-very good compression and the bearing are good to. the CL engines are all there but all apart, their Cranks are good and mounted in their snouts/bearings are great too.., see where I am going here? I think Gary does.
so, on the next warm day I am going to hot tank (with antifreeze) the good RC case with it's head off. I will not remove it's piston and ring. and the back plate and crank/bearings/snout will not be tanked. when reassembling I will use a CL back plate/disk valve/crank and snout and when finished and all together I will have a Rear Carb RC 40. slick.
LOL no Gary, as good as a friend you are you can't have your HPs back LOL

That Irvine .53 pictured above is without a doubt one of the finest engines ever made. Bob Davis made 100's of Diesel conversion heads for our military mounted on Irvine .53's. I talked him out of the prototype head.
