Yes, exactly Jesse,

My friend could actually start his engine. The symptom was that he could not get it to rev up.

I hope that the fix is as simple as we're suggesting.

That is totally insane.
I don't know anything about them, but I may experiment a bit and try one. The glow gassers are interesting.

A decent assortment of smaller engines up to 9cc

Opinions are mixed, some get them to run good others don't. Reports are that the expensive plugs dont last very long. The OS glow/gas engines were very expensive new but preowned NIB often don't sell quickly. You may be able pick one up NIB fairly cheap. Installing a CDI on one would be my choice.

Do look closely as they may appear just fine at first glance.
sometimes they get jammed between the tube and rocker arm on the apex of the upstroke in a sudden stop or over speed like floating a valve on a Harley v twin engine.

but you wouldn't want to pay the $509 for the OS 91 Gasser. + tax.

Hey!

By buying up an old, used Saito glow engine instead of that gasper; I can save enough money to pay for my glow fuel, and buy a used plane every year too!

If you want to try a NIB OS my flying buddy has a .46AX, 55AX, and a 61FX for sale. He also has a used 120AX.

For glow 2 strokes I think I am going to mostly stay in the .46 and smaller range. and less than .90 for 4 strokes. I have a few in the range I want to stay in. I do have a couple of 60s that have planes that are only suitable for .60s. A glass Dirty Birdi being on of them. My larger 2 stroke may get sold in the future. I will go to gas for replacements for the larger engines.

But at this time all of that is paused for a bit.

I'm waiting for Pete to post an airplane in a Emu beer livery. I'll bet he has one.

Hi Lonnie and Mike, good fun keeping up with the news here when travelling around Western Australia, so no flying at the moment. However...I found a pair of rose tinted sunglasses in my travels, it's a safety measure so that if someone posts a pic of a green TX/Plane/Harley Davidson, they look beige/babypoo brown through the rose tinted lenses. All I need now is a safe way to deal with FA125 pics and comments.

ps, and maybe some totally blacked out lenses in case Jim posts piccys of his smelly black and gold two strokes

So there you are out on another walkabout slacking eh Pete. I figured you got locked out of RCU like I do semi regularly. Finally got a pair of script glasses in real green after years of trying. They make the Hi Fi Turquoise on my 65 Electra Glide look Oceana Blue. Sheesh.
Thanks for checking back in with the boys club. Cheers Mate.

This will help you wake up tomorrow morning Pete, between the flag and the CH components it will appear a little Christmassy. I don't have the starter yet.

Saito 125 and 100 with CHI.
