Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine?

Barron, I forgot. If you can find Buckley, Michigan, you can find Don's hangar. Just ask where the airplane guy lives and you'll find it. Small, small village!!! He lives right behind Patty Cakes. Can't miss it.

Forgot about that. It went through the siding, burned through the insulation and meltrg the fire resistant wallboard. I was lucky it didn't catch the clothes in the closet on fire and burn the place down. Didn't know about it until the neighbor kid came over and fessed up.

Just a tune from "The Wizard of RCU."
And hello Gary, nice to hear the new blood in the airways. Welcome to the forum.
I ain't been flying but I ain't sinfully krashed anything either. The wx down here is finally almost like Autumn. We did have a few cool nights. Today was shirt sleeve weather, but it rained from Noon until about now (nearly 7:00PM.)
Sorry I missed the kauphy (cajun spelling of coffee) at Patty Cakes place. Maybe next time.
Nutin' new around here, just a rerun. "Same Stuff Different Day."
Those engine pics... Shoooooooooooeeeeee!!!
See ya later guys,

Don:
Ya'll come on down. Warning, though, we're having a cold snap. Daytime temperatures haven't been making it into the 70s for the past few days. You probably should bring at least a light jacket.
My servosx get sluggish below 70, and they (I) refuse to work below 60.
Haw.
Bill.

Bill, It's 70 in my house!!! I wish that counted.
You really should come up here during the winter. It would give you some stories to tell the locals. I'd even give you snow blowing lessons!!!

Gary:
Mary Esther is just west of Fort Walton Beach. And while I have a ME mailing address, I am actually a fair bit further west, Panama City is about 80 miles east of my house.
If you look at a map of the Florida panhandle, there's Pensacola. About 40 miles to the east, well, there's FWB centered on the southern border of Eglin AFB. Sacn to the west on highway 98, look for a small dot indicating the town of Navarre, I'm about 1/2 way between FWB and Navarre.
And we still have our eight flying sites.

Well Bill get up here. This morn' woke up to readings on 4. Anything over 45 is short sleve and shorts weather. [8D] You an't cold.
Ya come on and get snow blowing lessons. And you eight flying sites are small compared to Minnesota's 10,000 flying sites. (frozen lakes)

Barron, your weather is here!!!! Saw a truck in a ditch on the way home from work. I'm afraid this time it's not going to melt. Low of 9 tonite. The Lake is keeping things warm.

Barron, My little Home Depot ponds are frozen. Does that count? Actually the smaller lakes are freezing over. I live by Grand Traverse Bay. The west bay may not freeze, but the east bay, by my house usually freezes over in February. It's much shallower. Not much flying from the lakes in the winter. Too much snow. Same for flying from the field. The snow we get here, is the light fluffy stuff. Skies just sink in. Floats may work, but I haven't seen it done.
Don flies hand launched electrics in the winter.
There's a fly in on Jan. 1st. Don't know if I'll go. They do have a heated club house and food, so you never know.
Stay warm!!!

There's an airport a couple of miles away, so I guess the ponds count. Also, there's a hangar/airplane manufacturing facility 50 feet away(garage).

Actually, it's mine. Don's is a larger facility, producing high quality aircraft in a more timely manner. We have basically the same equipment, but somehow his works better and more often. Lately, my most used piece of shop equipment had been the TV. I did manage to do the preliminary mounting of the retracts, today. It's gonna take some fiddling to get them right.
I'm bogged down right now. Having trouble with the flap hinging system. Don will help, but I need to wait until he has the time.
He's working on two jets and a scale early 30's racer. He designed the jets. The two prototypes flew well. These are larger and more scale. They will be prop driven, however.
Warm today. 26 degrees.

I went over to Dons yesterday P.M. ,to return the heat gun. However I had not used it. I took my tiger 60 and Don finished the shrinking for me and gave me some helpful pointers on the do,s and don'ts of the process. I was afraid I was going to burn a hole in plane. The tiger is 95% completed. Can't wait to she her in the air. Merry Xmas to all
