Jeti has not given any time frame for when the CB's will accept (3) directly connected receivers. Just pointing out an option that is available now.

The first shipment finally arrived, two more will be here this month.
As soon as we get the FCC almost all pre-orders should be covered.

Ugh, I think I ordered the Red one.

But hey, this is a step in the right direction and we got pics! Thanks ZB!

Edit: Yup, I looked at my order and I ordered the BRIGHT RED one. I'd trade for a BLUE one! ZB, see my last post!

Last few days we have spent taking detail web pictures and working with our backlog.
Looks like all our pre-orders are covered and we now can take orders for late November delivery.

ZB, I never received an email or a phone call for my pre-order. You also state "that all pre-orders are covered". Does that mean those of us who ordered a red one too?

Is something like that going to happen?

I'll share what happened when I contacted esprit-models. I was told that the bright red Ds-24's where on the third (!) batch and that I could change my color choice and that I'd be able to pay now or when ready to ship.

So, if you haven't heard from them, give them a call.

Good luck to us all!

Wow...didn't realize that bright red was an option!

I may very well have selected if that option was offered. Bright yellow would've been 2nd choice. Given the available options, I went with blue.

Not seen a bright red yet in the DS 24 line up, only a wine red. Bright red would be a great option.

Chatty.

I was told that if you want a different color they will be made available after the first of the year as a special order item. And of course will cost an other $100 for it. I also wanted the hot red. But that blue grew on me and I switched.

All we need now is that darn FCC clearance. You know it's just a formality at this point, so hurry it up!

Nice !
This firmware update was one of the reasons I was waiting a bit before ordering a DS24.
Safety features of a third transmission module were nearly useless without the possibility of plugging the 3rd 900MHz Rsat on the CB.
Now, it would be great if CB200 is concerned too...

Since the 900Mhz link still won't do anything until the 2.4Ghz link completely fails 900Mhz usefulness seems very limited for any sort of interference related issue. At this point it certainly doesn't seem that it will provide seamless fail-over in a high interference environment and the only user I know of that has had it become active said he could clearly tell that he had no control before it took over.

Wayne,

This user that used the 900mhz had dual 2.4 or only one 2.4 and one 900 link?

You have to look at this from 2 different point of views:
1) You want something (900) if the environment is to problematic for 2.4GHz, otherwise your model is history. Little bit of delay is better than splinters and large fireball.
2) This is all based on software. If community (Us/Jeti/Danny/Wayne...) discovers better way you are only firmware update from better solution.
