Mr Rutter and Jason you are both welcome to have a quick twiddle of the sticks with something with a wasp in . and don't worry it won't be a reaper . that was only used ofr the first few flights due to it being a good test bed . the fact that it is more of a kite than an aeroplane means it would never be used to dem at shows . and yes Heward Microjets do have a stand at jet power. we are right next to wren and will be challenging them to a bake off. hopefully this will put any rumours of the 2 not getting on to rest.

If there is a Bake-off, I think Sara at Wren will win, from what I have heard.
Bad blood? I chat with Wren pretty often, and in my dealings with them, I have NEVER heard them act like that, never heard them say anything bad about Heward, they have never acted in anything but a gentlemanly(or ladylike) manner, EVER.
I don't speak for Wren, but from what I know, any rumors of bad blood, or any implication that they might harbor any ill thoughts about Heward, well, I have serious doubts about that.
Just thought it needed saying.
I think there will be more Wasps about and being demoed very soon, the only thing that will convince the world is to get the engines out there and flown.

i know wren have never had a problem with Phill and vice versa but people over the last few months have been heard to say the opposite . I have been working on a scret recipe for my baking which will include aviation fuel and a dash of resin in each cake . although they may not taste too good you will be in no fit state to complain i guarentee. maybe a good old fashioned egg and spoon race would be more fitting . A fight between pilots would be no good as that Chris Seaman is a bit of a wuss. anyway jet power should be a good event it will be the first time i have been and very much looking forward to it

Mr Rutter the rumours you mentioned a while back . are they the same as i have just heard in that heward microjets have gone bust. I mentioned this to Phill and he said he wish someone had told him as then he would not have bought lots of new equipment and moved to a more suitable work space. I tell you the jet scene is great for rumours and gossip. almost like a soap. If it where a soap i would obviously be the hunky male who all the women want. i wish !!!!

Only butting in as my name was mentioned no that wasn't the rumour but as you rightly say there are loads of incorrect rumours floating about thats why they are best kept to ourselves.

bye

not sure if anyones set the story right on this regards heward-microjets and microjet engineering.

microjet engineering had the recievers come in last year.
sometime before this happened Phill Heward left the company (microjet engineering) to setup on his own company with his own designs (as far as i know most of the designs that microjet engineering produced we're designed by Phill anyway, Phoenix 30.3, phoenix MK4, Phoenix panther and super panther, phoeonix albatros 90lbs thrust and all the others included the 150lb thrust and those with reheat and kerosene autostart)

Phill is doing well with his new company and has definatly NOT gone bust infact only lastnight (31/7/06) i helped Phill and his wife anna relocate to a new workshop here in Lincolnshire offloading all the mills, lathes etc, (i never knew how powerful those hydraulic winch's we're until lastnight LOL)

so if anyone is wondering if Heward microjets have gone bust i can catagorically say 'No' they haven't.

Well if your ex business partner or what ever had not have kept sending those very excellently machined engines (being truthful and not sarcy) but poorly running engines so until they are ALL eventually sorted we will hear quite a few reports but I'm sure Phil is getting on top of this.

Its a shame that people who do have sorted engines don't pipe up as I have heard they are starting to get better which is what they need to do.

Take it easy

Ant

This thread is becoming tedious. Too many personal indecipherable posts. Please, no more until some real information is available.

Can we kill this thread? It's waaaay off topic, has been for a long time. Was supposed to be about the Wasp, instead it's about ant-rutter trying to kill the Wasp at all costs, and about Sara's baking.
It's not right. Lock this one up, and if someone wants to start a new one, great.
