I havent had any problems with them but they come with what seems to be really light oil in them. I changed to 70 wt in the front and its way better.

yakfish, your last name isn't Duncan is it?
No I'm not a duncan

I notice too that they are abit on the soft side. I have some #60 shock oil in the garage that I think I'll put in them and see how it works. they are very smooth and I really like the adjustability. I haven't had a chance to test them out yet since I'm still waiting for the slipperclutch set to get here. It should be here tommarow hopefully. did hpi make an aluminum shock set for the mt2? I didn't see it or else I problably would have gotten it instead of these but I like them anyway.

Which type of clutch do you want? You can go with the hpi racing clutch or you can convert it to a 2 shoe setup.

I woukd say to go with a 2 shoe clutch. they eliminate the weak clutch spring that alway seem to break. here is the one that I'm using

i dont really like the tires thats on it im looking for something different. the tires are the trac-ta-gator ones. At the widest point on the body its 6.5" where the muffler sits but width of the truck is only 6 1/4"

let me know how that body fits the mt2 since im looking to get the same one or even the dodge truck one.

Thanks man. It seems to sit on there alright the reason I asked is because I didnt have an mt2 body so when I put this one on it just seemed a little bit big but its all good. Its about 6 1/4 inches wide. The only thing that I dont like is that it doesnt seem to sit as low as I think it should. How much room do you have between the engine and body on yours?

eminent that came out great. Did you use an airbrush or a rattle can?
As for the dodge body, look at page 682 for post Post #: 17040 and you'll see my ford body that I just did, its the same size as the dodge body.

eminentguitar, nice looking body! I love th paint job.

I jut got my MT2 converted from the stock non slipper spur gear to a slipper. I guess that mine must have been the original MT and not an MT2 I got it used and couldn't tell the difference from the pics. its better than an MT2 now though!! and its running great!!

I got the 2 speed installed the other day but I think the gearing is too high. I need to get a 45T spur gear. Id like a 48T too but I dont think they make it.

Thanks man that was the good old rattle can man lol I think it looks sweet I wish you guys could see it in the sun then you can tell how the 2 shades of blue look. I would have used my air brush but im having some compressor problems. I have to get a new filter. What clutch bell did you get for it I cant remember? Just remember that If you change 1 spur you have to change the other or get the right bell for it.

Thanks yakfish

snipermaster those tires are great for racing man everyone here uses bowties the m3 is the best for the nice hard track so they say lol I have never ever been to or on a track to tell you the truth but I do know alot of people that race and thats what there using. Just stay off the pavement with those ones.
