Its beautiful. Protect the head with tie straps and fuel tubing! Its too beautiful to scratch. That is definitely not a stock pipe.

You need the 2 speed tranny from the on road and the 2 speed clutch bell. I would recommend the 13/16 CB depending on what engine you are going to be running.

If you can get the EVO or RS4 tranny it drops right in. The only thing you would need to do is change the gears so that you have the ratio you want.

If you pm me your email address I can send you a gearing calculator. A cheap way to lower the truck is to install a little bit of fuel line to the shock shaft inside the shock body.

EBAY
all the parts come from china so goto ebay and type in "MT2 GPM" and you will get a few pages of results

Side note life lesson's in RC's: HPI Brama 10b + Brushless 8.5t setup = a box of parts after 5 minutes. That is just driving it without hitting anything.

Can you post a photo of your brama?

I just got my motor and esc back this week and should have my e-storm flux going by tomorrow. That truck can take the lipo no problem. Highly recommended.

I just saw the pictures in your post on here. Sucky. I guess that truck wasn't meant to be driven in any other way than stock.

Well...the MT2 will be hibernating for the winter time, decided to take it apart clean it, like I normally do.
Except this year I will be buying a few new parts and some bling, bling.
I have no idea what will look like once it's finished...but here is the beginning.....

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9429498/tm.htm has pics
whats left of it is sitting in a DF-02 box till I make its new chassis outta a sheet 2.5mm aluminum I ordered off ebay
only issue I have currently is the diff gear. The E10 and EB10's bevel gear is plastic... and it kind of got tore up in the rear from the BL system. Plastic RC's and BL systems don't mix, Honestly when I'm done I doubt I can really even call it a brama anymore seeing it has a fair amount of parts from other things. I even got Nitro RS4 MT parts there (Diff cups) to keep it on topic

And yea the thing was never meant to hold anything under a 35t motor... 27's and 21's had issues in it and got very hot, a 12t roasted in it, HPI never came through with any hop-ups or parts support they promised, and virtually ditched the thing.

Hi guys,
New MT2 owner. I bought one secondhand, was the RTR one with the T-15 engine in it.
I have noticed that the clutch bell gear (is this called a pinion gear or is that something else?) doesnt sit flush with the spur gear.
The clutch bell gear covers about 70% of the spur gear mesh, but on my other cars their clutch bell and spur gear sit perfectly flush.
The chassis is not bent or anything. I noticed that the engine can only be moved left ro right to adjust the mesh, but not forward and back to adjust how level the two gears are.
Will this cause problems or does it not matter? I cant understand why it doesnt sit flush though. The guy who i bought it off said it has a new T-15 in it which only had about a gallon run through it.
I will post pics if required.
Any help please? Also if i set the mesh too tight against the two gears, when i push the car freehand it makes a bad grating sound at a particular rotation, not the whole rotation though. If i set the mesh at a better level, it still makes this sound but much less noticeable. Any help please?

weird its only 70% on. I got a T-15 in mine and it fully flush with the gear. Sounds like you might be missing part of the clutch I think there is a washer thats supposed to be in it that should probably push it out like 1mm or 2 (or the guy had the wrong clutch bell on it). Personally I'd take the clutch apart and follow the pic I attached (the pics off the MT1 but its pretty much the same exact setup)

Something is definitely wrong, it should sit flush with the spur gear.

Most likely it's missing the washer part# Z694, or maybe even part# Z699 which is part of the flywheel...you will have to take it apart to see it.

Download the manual from the link below and go to page 26 see if any of those parts are missing...that should be the problem.

It is the GPM steering saver, at one time they had it on silver and I bought it...much better than the stock.
The internal parts to make it turn you can fit ball bearings making it a nice smooth to turn.
