I know a guy that's selling a Rush EVO RTR that is pristine. Only used enough fuel to break it in and decided to stick with Electric. Selling for $160. It's litterally like brand new. Rotostart, radio, motor included. Super clean. Is this a good deal?

Not that I know if. But regardless, is that a good deal. I saw it knew for $250ish, but they were out of stock. So who knows how long it's been that price. I know the Rush has been replaced by a new model. So considering overall value, is $160 a good price?

I just took a long look at the exploded view and I am guessing VERY few. No way will any one ever get a Rush to handle as well as the Firestorm on the track at the two are just that much different.

What do you think about the diff casing? It's 55 tooth, just looks a bit narrower, might try this out when I can get my hands on one.

One thing that struck me as strange with the Firestorm is the middle gear in the transmission, it has two "stacked" gears, one seems to just float in space and doesn't come in contact with anything, anyone know why this is?

If you are talking about the middle gear having 2 different size gears on it what it looks to me is it is some sort of reduction gear set up. The power comes in on the slipper clutch shaft to the gear on it then goes to one of the two gears on the middle gear crosses over to the other gear and then to the diff cup gear.

I ways trying to sell my Rush but no one wanted to give me $175 for a truck I had over $700 in so I decided to keep it and let my children and friends drive it. I really like the Firestorm and if I where ever to get another 2 wheel drive Stadium truck and that is the one I would get. It looks SO much superior to the Rush as far as a racer. Just hope the middle gear in the Firestorm is better then the one in the Rush.

That's what I meant, it looks like one of the gears sits in a detent in the case and contacts nothing though.

I still use my rush, but that middle gear is a pain, I've gone through 2 engines and 4 diffs! I was going to sell it also after a recent major crash but seeing as I'll get nothing for it I've had a change of heart.

On the middle gear I do believe you will find out the power comes in on one side of the gear then out on the other side so the whole gear is used.

I race so the Rush is not a whole lot of good to me other then letting my children and friends drive it when I go to the track to practice. Here are my 3 racing vehicles.

that would make sense it is 26/35 teeth, just looks funny on the drawing. Guess that's there way of fixing the middle gear problem. It's metal too right?

scary! i'm not even going to start writing a list of what I've spent on mine.. it would just depress me, and anger my girl friend.

I've got a Savage now and that eats up a lot of money! What have you done to yours?

Right now I only have 19 RC cars and trucks as I sold a few. One time I started figuring and quite counting when I hit $10,000 and still had much more to go. In my Savage I have about $1,200 and still have more I want to add.
