Ozzie,

I did this plane on Turbocad, but I wouldn't really call them plans. I really didn't detail the drawings much.

Viper Driver, any intentions on selling the plans at some point? Looks good, I'd definitely be interested if you do.

Hey Viper Driver,

Put me on that list if you do offer plans too, really like the fuse work, your plane looks like a great building project.

thanks for sharing, dean

I am going to clean up the drawings for the Lightning after the Nats to make them suitable for someone other than me to build. I hope to get them out before the end of the summer.

Thanks Maustin. Well, about the weight i tried to keep everything that was added light. The wood work was done by Terry Brox , and is one of the lightest out there and the quality is umbeliavable. DEPS system for elevator. Rudder servo and elevator servo mounted just behind wing tube. No false floor. Lipo battery with regulator. Ys-160 with hatory 821 pipe. Balancing was no problem. Everything came out perfect. very happy with it.

Here's a Aeroslave Entropy that I just referbed for a practice plane. Put new Symphony wings and stab in along with a carbon fiber wing tube and dropped the weight from well over 11lbs to 10.8lbs. The more modern wings really slowed the plane down speed wise in the downlines and it snaps very well as I just started practicing the advanced pattern. OS140, Hatori pipe, mentor 2 plug head. What a sweet combo.

Viper,
I`m really impressed with the way you have built your plane, especially the nose and canopy, It would be great to learn a little more about your construction method

Some pictures of my DaveSmithModels SMARTMOVE.
Model is powered by an ASP91fs with a Just Engines quite pipe sytem and is very quite in the air, nice sound too! currently using a 14x6apc prop. I modded the wing mounted U/C to a fuse mounted carbon fibre item. Epoxy glassed the complete model and painted with KlassKote, lettering cut from Solatrim. The model has come out very heavy at 7lbs 3oz (probably my technique with the glass and paint!) but still has very good verticle performance even with the ASP not yet fully run in.

PS I'd like to take credit for the paint design but i just copied it from a picture on the ZN site

Best regards all
stevepj

Hi There

My CMPro Leo 110 during final stages of recovering. Glasscloth/exopy resin with 2K spray paint and final clear coat. Came out a little heavy but this was my first spray painting exercise ever and my first full cloth resin cover job ever.

My pride and joy ids powered by an OS91Fx (ringed) with own design and home engineered side to rear header with an eastern made tuned muffler running a 15x8 APC competition prop and 10% Nitro/synthec/methanol mix and OS "F" plug.

Flies rock staedy when I let it!!!! Oh my own colour scheme layout but kept to original colours...
