THis is my preferred pattern plane: Bridi Advance Trainer - OS FS70 SUrpass II - build from RCM plans, with some minor mods - S3001 everywhere, S3110 at the throtle.
Unfortunately lost at 3rd flight (extreme ail trim at take-off, my mistake)
What? Quique or Jason could fly P09 and F09 with it, and will beat the pants out of any of us. Am I wrong?

Here is my Pass Port. Very bad picture of me because I was home from a contest and tired.
Anyway here is my beloved flying machine.
This picture will be updated because when I took this picture I didn't have my tip fins on.

Guys, this is my own design "counter measure". Flies at 12 lbs on a DL-50 gas engine. Has currently about 50 flights so far. not exactly legal but a good practice machine.

Here's some of my old pattern planes from the Sixtys and Seventys. The Red-White and Blue "Sweet Tater" with Rhom-Air retracts and
a Veco .61 With Perry Pump and Carb was built in 1976 to celebrate the Kansas Centennial. The Fuselage hanging on the wall is a
"Beach Comber". The other planes are a White/red "Sweet Tater" and a "Super Kaos."

Hey Jim; when I was a kid I dìreamed with those planes... I saw them many times on spanish and US magazines. In those times there were no youtube to see videos of the pattern maneuvers they made; can you show any? Can you post a flight sequence you made with thme?

As I recall, the tweedy burd was my first wholy owned pattern model way back in 1978. I was flying it just fine at the open field we had in College; but when I arrived at a new field where I wanted to become a member, the local so called "expert" just had to try it out to make sure it was airworthy. What's a 23 year old new kid on the block to do. He proceeded to crash it. I vowed to myself that that was never going to happen again and it hasn't

and a few more, enjoy!
The pipe mount shown here has now been changed to the Nishioka system.
This was also my first attempt at painting a model fuse. My 'B' machine is now ready to get on the bench which is another Twister. Same spec as the 'A' machine using the same sheme design but using different colours. I plan to cover the build on here so stay tuned you Twister fans.
