Really? I don't see you in there? Can you fit in there with the plane?

C'mon now, it doesn't matter how we get to the contest as long as we get there, right???
I remember a time, actually several times, that I went to the contest with the Zen 140 and either the Ariel, or another 2m ship in my 95 eagle talon (same as an eclipse). Plus two foamies, all my gear, two radio's, and a big easy up. LOL
Jason, the plane looks great. Can't wait to get one!!

Derek, you're laughing now, but Jason will be laughing when he beats you without installing the right stab half.

Not if I have a say in the maneuvers he flies... [8D]

I've yet to see a YS engine with an O.S EFI controller. I'm guessing someone has signed some kind of NDA to be able to test the new OS 2.0 EFI in his integral... [8D]

The YS I'm using is my 10 year old 140FZ. I can get through both P and F, but I have no power to spare. I guess flying electric and having more power than I'll ever use has spoiled me.
I'd still have the 200 in it if I hadn't forgotten how to run an EFI motor. I had the unit set on the wrong setting and the first run on it was hot to the point where everything heated up too much and the header grew into the pipe. I think that was more my mounting of the short Hatori right up against the header and not leaving any room for it to expand. But in the 1 run I had with it, 17x13 and 20/20, I didn't go to full power often. Oh yea, the reason the EFI is still in the plane... it's glued to the foam it's sitting on so I don't want to remove it. Fact, no NDA here
.
Derek, just don't put a 1 roll circle to the inside in the sequence and I might still have a chance...

Are you going to be owning multiple Integrals in the future Jason? If so, you can say that you use your Integra LS to haul both of your Integra LS to the field.

Airplane looks awesome Jason.
Now I need to figure out how you can fit two 2 meter airplanes in a Sports Car and I can only fit one in my Explorer...
Congratulations on your win at Tangerine as well.

Maybe I missed it but where can one purchase the Integral ??? Is it a composite-arf model to replace the Impact or is it produced/sold exclusively by ZN models ??

Hi JAS,
Nice plane! Congratulations for your win!
Can you please tell me what prop and fuel you run with the YZ-140 FZ on the Integral? From the photos it seems to be a narrow blade prop.
Any estimations about when the plane will be commercially available from CompARF?
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Nick,
I was running an APC 15x12 with the 140FZ. In the pics, that's actually a 160DZ with an APC 16.5x12. 30% heli fuel in both motors. Way over-powered, but I don't want to load the motor too much as it's brand new. The planes leave the factory, at least for the States, next week. Not sure about when the planes leave for Europe.

Jason,
Thanks for the instant response! I hope it will be in Europe soon, as I am very interested in getting one...
Happy flying.

Man that plane certainly wasn't hurting for power with that new DZ up front
FWIW, my personal impression of this plane is this: winner, it's for real boys. It's easily the best F design I've seen yet. It snaps pretty well, and carves through the rollers and S very well. It's still in it's infancy but it looks like it is the real deal. It's constructed very well and is light. I REALLY think this is "the one".
It does have a ton of side area, and the only place this really seems to have any adverse effect at all is on T/O and landing in a heavy crosswind (which we had in spades this weekend). As soon as the plane gets anywhere close to air speed, it tracks out nicely. In the air, the clean design lets it cut pretty well. That's unusual for such a tall plane (and it is TALL!!!)
Just being analytical. [8D]
Great job guys!

Hey Jason, do you know when Comp-ARF will take the money for the order. Will they take it before or after the planes arrive in the States?
Thanks
Thanks
