Exfokkerflyer,
I'm the owner of your e-pinnacle kit and it's still flying well! I'm just finishing a BMV-3 myself! Great minds with similar thoughts<G>. Mine will be Axi 5330 powered though I have a Dualsky to play with too.

LCHelilover,
Not sure about great minds, speak for yourself, I'm still distracted by shiny objects and pretty lights!
That was a pretty Pinnacle... great flying planes.

HI All,
Just a quick update from my shop.
I picked up 2 electric Black Magic Vf3 fuses that Mike built and I am painting for a client.
These planes are crazy light - as you seen them in these photo's with landing gear bolted in place, chin, canopy and rudder they are at 2 lbs 2 oz. They are so big and so light, you have to be careful when you pick them up as not to throw'em to the ceiling.
I am painting these in "Fire Dragon" Scheme with tribal flames etc, much like my yellow plane but mostly white.
I am amazed by the work Mike did on these babies and I am aiming at 2 lb 7oz with finish or less. Mike awesome job here bro !!!!
My vf3 is in final primer and I am planning on painting all 3 planes together with similar schemes. On my plane I am working up a tribal dragon for the front of the plane. I am planning on doing most of the prep work on the two new planes tommorrow and fiberglass by the end of week....
Cheers!
Dean

Hi Dean,
If they're electrics why do the graphics have YS power on them?
I ordered a VF3E yesterday from Mike. Looking forward to building it.
Cheers
Jason.

Two are electrics that I am painting for a customer. They are not getting the dragon head....
One is mine and will have the YS Power Dragon head on it. I'll be running the DZ 160. The Dragon head graphic is just for me I guess ...
sorry it's almost confusing for me too

I actually got a total of 7 Black Magics in my shop right now in various stages of completion.

The graphics are for his personal plane, not the Es. His is YS powered.
yeah thankfully the builds are finally breaking loose and rolling out the door. Sure is making life easier!
BTW my email went nuts so if anybody emailed me within the last week or 2 and didn't get a response, please resend. I'm not ignoring you, I just didn't get it.
I am looking forward to seeing what Dean does with those planes [8D]

"3D - please note that those two planes look a lot better on the internet than they did when they were rejected on the spot by a certain northestern FAI pilot couple weeks back. These planes were definately not of the famed Japanese quality Black Magics were recently compared to."

Not only that, the planes were not rejected. I was asked to go one more step with it, and I did. if you actually saw the planes, you were one of 3 people. if you are not one of these 3 people, I assume you are omnipotent? Obviously not.

I beg to differ on your statement 3D...I know Mike's quality, I also know he practically killed himself to meet the deadline after that certain "northeastern pattern flyer" told me he would be happy to drive all the way to Atlanta to meet Mike..however when the time came, he drove 4 hours, Mike drove 16, stuck in traffic as well as other little issues. There are physical issues that Mike has that he doesnt complain about, he just deals with. I will stand behind his work any day of the week. Have you personally seen his work? Didn't think so? Did you see the planes in question? Didn't think so? I saw pictures all through the building stage..there is nothing wrong with the planes. The planes were fine. The only thing was micro balloons that needed about 30 seconds of sanding...the glassing was fine, he just hadnt final sanded it.
I am not the only person to make the statements about the quality....
I love how you make statements, but will not identify yourself publicly. That right there says a LOT about your character.

3DnSD- If you cannot name this "certain pilot" to substantiate your claim then you do not need to be posting this sortof fodder. Name the pilot and he needs to validate your claim here.. I am removing your post and if you can validate your claim then you can repost with his name and his validation. If he does not back you up then I will remove all further postings related to this line of discussion from you.

Criticism I can deal with. Lies and outright anonymous slander, that's another story.
Thanks Mike.

I know Mike does not turn out any work that is not up to snuff. He is extremely picky about what he does concerning airplanes. I could probably go and pick out some wings or stabs out of his "reject pile" and be perfectly happy. I think he did two or three sets of wings for my new V3's until he was happy.
Anyway, it always strikes me as funny that most of the time these inflamatory statements come around, they are typed by anonomous screen names such as 3DnSD.
Emory.

Anonymous? Dude this is 2008, nobody is truly anonymous
I'd just really like to know why some jet dude in Ca that doesn't even fly pattern is so obsessed with me. More specifically, obsessed with slandering me.
This one may not end on the internet.

Mike,
This sort of behaviour should never have made it to public view. In fact all related posts should probably be scrubbed from this thread as it only polutes the thread and adds absolutely no value. That includes this post!
If an individual has an issue with a product or service you provide then they should take it up directly with you off line. It has been my experience that people will fall over backwards to ensure the Customer is happy.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Cheers
Jason.
