Yeah, you can easily hold the servo arm still. When it's assembled and running, it won't even budge the wheels when sitting still. My LHS told me about the signal adj over the phone, but it was already at full signal.

You place the truck on it and the wheel in the starter box turns the flywheel from under the truck, instead of a pull start or a rotostart. It turns the crankshaft directly so it eliminates the broken OWB's and pull starts. Just a pain to lug around with you

mao better look into a aluminum servo horn as well

@madmax my friends servo was doin the same thing after he did a bunch of snow runs and drowned it etc.. you know the norm. XD Anyway nothing a good spray down of WD40 couldn't fix LOL. I was thinking about just getting some electrical grease removing the bottom cover and putting a crap load in it, and putting some of the grease around the servo horn. That should be more then water tight.
yea I almost drowned the thing in WD-4 waiting for it to dry b4 i try it out again. going to the mall tomorrow then to wal-mart for some bike grips (tires for micro-t) and super glue.

I checked the stock tires and they are glued EXTREMELY well to the wheels, so there was no chance of getting those off in any kind of usable condition
.

Send them to me I bet I could get them to peel off by the time im done driving! lol they last 1/2 a gallon

i would not get that one either get the tt one or the ofna box. the one you chose said for 1/10 or 1/18 scale so the box may not fit propely for the st1, i think the thunder tiger box is 77.00.

Well, I ran out side to grab a smoke. What do I see, it's the FedEx truck with my new TT ST1. SWEET, finally. Only issue I found so far is 1 of the hex adapters has mashed threads. I emailed Amain, about it, but Ill probably pick up replacement tomorrow along with a wing and some fuel.

Fuel, I've used Traxxas and Ondonells b4, and my fuel I have now is wasted its like 2 years old. What fuel should pick up for the ST1? I have like crap knowledge with nitro fuel still. Thanx, oh and tried surfing thru the threads here for the fuel info, but theres a hell of a lot of posts to weed thru

WD-40 is a water displacement oil spray. If you lightly spray your wires and servos it will help repel any water you get into. It WILL NOT make it water proof though.

I'm new to the Nitros as well, but the guy at AMAIN recommended Sidewinder 20%. I've put a quart and a half through mine.

I tried the odonnels and found it left too much oil residue all over the whole truck. Its very sticky. Im using trinity monster hp right now and it seems good.

Yeah, I noticed with O'donells its a little messy.

What about the %?

And Wing mount I bought the extender The first thing I did was mount the wing mounts and then went over ever screw and checked for tightness on the whole truck.

I tried 20 & 30% Odonnels and found both too sticky.
I switched to 30% Trinity and now Im back to 20% trinity. I know you shouldnt change the % that often but I had problems with engine temps being too high so after talking with several people I gave the 30 a try with no luck.

Ive heard the traxxas is very oily. Ive never tried it so I dont know. Im guessing the 33% makes up for the extra oil though.

i have been running sidewinder , oddonels (it smells bad) trinity backyard basher. i have found that it runs better with a higher oil16%. i have the sidewinder 20 with 12% oil but plan on putting some more oil in to make it either 14 or 16 % oil. i think 1 quart is close to 1000 ml so to make 12%oil to 16% i woild need 40ml so times that 4 times is 160ml of oil or 2/3 of a cup of oil.

I wouldn't waste my money on that box. This is known to be a very good box, can't beat the price nor the size of the unit.
