Went with black outlines - very pleased with the overall result - especially the red - [i]perfect[i] Ferrari red... Custom Colours is a million times better than Tamiya for spraycans....

Now I just need some yellow rims - if I can ever find any 8T wheels....

Looks Great Spikeit. Now get out there and win the A-Main. It'll be tough, but I know you can do it! You took a 4th place with a REVO against truggies.

SpikeIt

How'd ya get the rims the same blue colour.?

Did ya dye them, I took the rims + tyres off my Pro kit and im gonna use them on my other one.?

I really like that orange colour. Gonna dye mine black tho.

Just a general question, can you use lexan paint on the rims.?

I used Rit Dye to Dye the rims a dark blue. Here is the link to the color chart. [link=http://www.ritdye.com/Color+Chart.4.lasso]http://www.ritdye.com/Color+Chart.4.lasso[/link]

The exact color I used was Navy Blue. The longer you leave it the Dye in the darker it will become. I am also getting some proline LRP rims and will be dying those Orange as well.

As far as the blue color for the body I used Parma paint for air brushing.

I don't see why you couldn't use the LExan paint on rims, but they will chip also. Dying it is the way to go.

Thanks SpikeIt.

Im so tempted to break out my Pro body too [&o]

Resist : Fight : Wait For LHS To Get It In.!

Im gonna do something similar to PatrickBW's black and silver scheme with the black wheels.

I love the look of that

My wheels are gonna be black

Body will be Blue and Black, I dont have an airbrush, so im gonna rattle can it.

Shouldnt be too hard.

Thanks Patrick. That is wierd I didn't see this post till just now and I know you posted this lastnight, but it didn't showup till now. I know you posted something as lastnight it said you where the last to post, but I swear it didn't show up till now.

By the way that Ferrari is hot and I agree the black lines around the windows look good.

Guys, I am trying to decide on a Losi 8T, Mugen MBX5T or the Ofna Hyper ST pro. The hyper is cheaper than both the others which is important to me as I need to buy my son one as well. My only concern is if you will be at a disadvantage on the racetrack. Can you guys comment and help me make the final decision. I have heard that the losi 8T breaks a lot more, which has me currently shying away from that one. Any help appreciated.

The hyper st pro was my first truggy kit im stoked about it love how it handles and I haven't broken anything yet has had track time but no real race yet and has had some good beating time on it aswell; but, I don't have to much experience with any other truggies except for a jammin soo I can't judge all of them but can say I have had alot of fun with mine and can't wait to race it

The Hyper is a TANK!!! By far the toughest truggy I have owned. You will not be at a disadvantage at all on the track whatsoever. The truck is ultra smooth, and like a cadillac over the whoops! Holds a line in the turns great. If you get the PRO kit make sure to get LPR wheels and tires. Best thing I ever did for mine.

I have been building my shocks and have found that two of the shock ball heads dont fit into the shock caps as well as the other two do. Looking in the manual I see that there are two different part codes for the front and rear shock caps, but I guess that is because they are bundled with the shock body?

Has anyone else had this? Should they all fit in the same?

Cheers

I think they were all the same. All 4 shocks are the same I believe maybe except for the front shock shafts being a little shorter, (I think) cannot remember for sure.

I finally got my OS 21 V-Spec broken in and tuned. All I can say is wow this thing RIPs. Power on demand. Now it's time to get the suspention tuned in.

One thing I am noticing is the there is fluid coming out of the front and rear bulks. Assuming its the diff so I will take them out and take a closer look. Anybody else having this issue?

I have had this as well (and Im not even running yet!)

Went to a LHS and they suggested changing the red O ring to a paper type from from an XRay truck I think. I bought them but havent fitted them yet. I will get the part number when I get home if you want it?
