anyone know if the Hyper ST Pro body will fit on the Hyper ST RTR without any modification? If not what are some other bodies that will fit? I don't want to get another RTR body, I would like a custom paint job.

Yupp the Pro bodies fit, as a matter of fact, they even come with pre-cut holes to mount the body in the RTR.
Example; Notice the holes

And the bodies of the X1 CRT fit fine, and Ive read somewhere that you can get a Mugen body to fit ( Go a few pages back, PatrickBW got one to fit ), and the Kyosho ST R bodies fit too ( Read it on another forum ).

Does anyone know if Pro Line Crime Fighters will fit on the Hypers ST Pro rims?

Traxxas Response and Panther Pythons tyres will fit the ST rims.

the crimefighter lpr fit with some modding. you have to cut off the little lip inside all the way around. i did some panther gators that way and its worked great so far.

Finally got around to taking out my front and rear diffs due to them leaking. And boy did they leak. Both Empty. That red rubber band that seals the front and rear diff to the main gear is a joke. When taking it apart I compared it to my brother-in-laws Kyosho Inferno Buggy and guess what. The Front and rear diffs are identical down to every part. The thing about the Kyosho Inferno buggy diff is it also has a gasket inbetween the diff cup and the main gear. So I order it and it was a perfect fit. Cleaned out the diffs relubed put them back together plus the new gasket. So for anybody looking to fix the leak with the front and rear diffs here is the part I used.

While we were at it my brother-in-law also fabricated some new gas tank posts as the stock ones just don't cut it. We made them alittle thicker and used small rubber orings to dampen the tank from vibration. Works like a charm.
Here are some pics of the new mounts.
After all the new mods went out for a test run and the mounts and new gaskets worked like a charm. Kudos to Jerzferno for making the new mounts.

Well giving my ST a new look. All Black, everything will be black + purple. Waiting on a body from the LHS, if its not here by Saturday, im gonna buy a X1 CRT Body and paint that black. I absoloutely love the black + purple look of it.!

Also got a new flywheel + clutch today. Old one was completely knackered.

Are you sure your supposed to be running 3 shims.? I think it was 2 with my Picco, and they're the same engines. I run 3 shims and im running 30%. Have you tested the engine for air-leaks.?
Take a look at this one, a coupla guys run them at the track,

Spikeit - I think we got that truggy smokin fast now. Just need to tighten up all those fasteners and blue locktite them. And watch out for that double jump on the long back stretch. Dont know why, but that truggy thinks its an air plane? Keep it low and you'll do great this Sunday!

Guys.
Can someone post me a pic of what kind of stick pack your using.
Reason being, my old one died on me today, and nearly took my car with it.
I got 5 Energizer 2500MAH batteries, and am gonna build my own pack, ( Ive done it a lotta times before for friends ). And I need to see how you mounted it.
Im thinking 3 - 2 Formation, because a 5 formation wont fit right.
Thanks.

i just put the ninja 21 in my st last week. i was surprised how good it pulled the hyper. the motor was not
new, 6 or 7 gal thru it. it was actually easier to drive, putting the power to the ground was no problem.

I get at least three tanks and I am running a JR 9100T and a hitec 645. I usually charge it after three because I do not want to take any chances.
I use the longer battery cover pictured here.
