My Zero has the FG90 and total weight dry is 15 kg (Without drop tank).
I am very happy with the Zero with the 90. Its a perfect match for this model, and this weight. Good power in all directions. All over a great combo.
My FW had the FG90, and the total weight dry was 17 kg. (Extra paint and without the drop tank)
I have now changed to Moki 180 engine. Total 18 kg dry. (Also without the drop tank). Perfect combo. Just super ! Highly recommended !
I felt that the FW was underpowered with the 90. I would say that the 90 has a limit when the weight is coming up to 16,5-17 kg.

The graphics are coated with a thin clear plastic. Tough to sand or remove with chemicals. I took a razor blade and scraped off the plastic...then wet sanded with 180 & 220. Very easy once I figured out how to remove plastic shield. It will come off is huge hunks once you get the blade underneath a bit. Hope that helps.

I installed sierra gear and added 1/8 plywood shims so the gear cleared the wing skin in the retraction cycle.
There is some lateral play in the gear as the slot is wider than the gear. Tow-in isn't adjustable with my particular sierra gear so to verify everything I plugged both wings together (with out the fues) and placed them in position than ran a axel size rod between them and set them at 0 degrees tow. It turns out that the blocks were perfect so no adjustment was required and the gear was installed centered in each slot.
YMMV

I put the wings on first then adjusted the shims as needed...what I found is the shims changed the camber and the gear needed to be shifted to adjust the toe in. All this changed the location of the wheels on the wheel well, so your best bet would be to start with the wings on and find that sweet spot with the toe in

My FW-190 has a white belly so I am busy painting things white. landing gear included and all the ancillary hardware as well.
Today I put the wings on the plane and ran into a problem the wing wouldn't go in completely like it was hanging up on something.....
I think my rear wing tubes are too long. The front wing tube is 21 1/4" long and the rear wing tube is 12 3/8"
Someone measure yours. I can see the rear tube hitting the other tube on the centerline of the fuse. as I tride to slide the wing on the fuse.
Before I cut about 1/2" I just want to double check things.
They slide into the wing a little less than 6" and are symmetrical from the right and left side.
All the normal checks have been done.
