I am afraid 5 more years have passed.... the model remains in the same state with the same intentions.... maybe before I am 60 then!!! Another 4 1/2 years to go then!

Blimey.... nearly a year since my last post..... I have made some progress though.... I sanded the Carbon Bypass shroud from its over primed and filled state to back to near black, smooth and ready...

Fantastic and incredible particularly on EDF.

For the realism and engineering challenges, would love to see this with a gas turbine though, not in any way to decry this incredible achievement.

Ok was shown a cox pwered free flight model when I was about 6, my uncle made me a rubber powered tissue covered model. For some reason that was enough, I was intrigued.

Always always struggled...
