RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Okay - once is a freak but twice - not so sure. 3 years ago my Saito 150 dropped a valve and effectly turned it into a paper weight! I love the engine so I bought a new 150 to install in my ESM...

RE: New CRRC Pro GP50R prototype 50cc

Thanks Guys

Got it sorted - tapped two holes to 6mm and used a gear puller to pull against the prop washer (held on by two 6mm bolts). Put on a replacement hub and all good to go. Thanks again.

Hi All

I have the CRRC 50 pro R installed in my ESM Spitfire. A great set up and I have had about 12 flights - but - on my last flight I noticed a different noise from the engine. On...

RE: KMP New Spitfire Mk XIV

A Saito 150 - we fly at 600 ft above see level so we loose +- 15% power.

RE: KMP New Spitfire Mk XIV

Hi All thanks for all the info that was of great use during my Spit build. Used "pull pull" on rudder and elevator and still had to put 600 grams to balance. Have a Saito 150 up front (lighter than...

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

My Hurricane is toast! Was asked if I could get it into a spin - Yes. But was not asked if I can get it out again - No! Guess I had better learn befor I try it on the next one.

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

Hi All

I have now more than 20 flights with my Hurry. Use flaps all the time with 20% up elevator mix. Very stable in the air only issue is post touch down wobbles as the speed bleeds off.

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

Had same issue with the balance. Also had to put circa 2 pounds of lead up front. But no issues a great plane. Just need to get the post landing ground handling sorted.

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

No read the used review (drop down up top). But scanning the posts is not a bad thing. Issues such as nose weight and the like also discussed.

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

Great and good luck - looking forward to hearing your flight report. Just remember don't follow the instructions as to the tail weel. See "building tip" on this plane.

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

Have now got some 8 flights under my belt, Take-off no problem and in the air a great plane. Landing I find tricky as she wants to drag a wing (tipping over to the side) with no real post landing...

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

Hi, yes it is too much power, I fly at 1/2 power (scale) but at 6000ft above sea level it is good to have some in reserve. We work on 90% of the power at sea level. I must say that the OS 120 two...

RE: KMP Hurricane in detail

Maidened my Hurry this long weekend. A great flyer!:D On the first run up she dropped the port wing. Had to do some fast trimming to get her level but once up she flew great. The landing was no...

RE: wm spitfire or h9 p40 and why?

I have now had both for some time - My advice - get both:D. No seriously the P40 is a much easier plane to fly and land. The spit is a bit tricky esp at slow speeds - but the flaps work well. The...

RE: H9 P-40 and OS .91FX

Hi Jeff

I have a P40 with the OS 91 fx with standard muffler. A great combonation. Did not have to cut too much of the cowl - just the exit link. Looks okay works great.

RE: World Models .60 Spitfire

We fly off paved and the retracts were fine - I am sure that they will be fine on grass and I don't think it will nose over very easly as the weels are quite far forward.

Good luck with yours.
