Just take the spring out clean it with a rag and that is. I added a bit of light grease to reduce friction. I tested dropping it from around 2-3" and worked great.

I did the same on my J10, with the stock grease...

I did the same on my J10, with the stock grease was too stiff, is a 10 min job. I also replaced the nose spring to a softer one. It was the only mod needed, it is a great plane!

I 've moved the smoke pump forward and relocated all the equipment. Now with full uat and about 1in of fuel I need about 8oz or 220gr to balance using the provided tool.
Any input from the guys...
