I had a Saito 180 for awhile. It was first in a H9 Edge 540 and then in a Giles G-202. The best prop I found for that engine was an APC 18-6W. It also flew decently although considerably faster...

Here is why I don't think the Pitts Special will do very well at 3D. First, the tail isn't airfoiled. I think a scale plane needs the airfoiled tail to get the authority necessary for flying 3D...

I already have the 3W 60, but I don't want to short change myself on power. I want an unlimited 3D plane that I'm not afraid to play with down low. On the deck confidence comes from plenty of power...

A new gasket and 2 new mount screws solved the problem. The engine is running great again and responding appropriately. Thanks again for your help.
