If I remember it correctly..... the release mechanism is shown in the pic provided it screws to the bottom of your fuse, there is an arm that sticks through the fuse, and the servo attaches there.

It is very common especialy with new engines, the wearing in of a new engine will deposit that worn material on the plug and cause it to fail.

I think that the side engine mounts also have to do with countering the thrust of the engine.
I do know that the engine can and will run fine either way.
Not for sure but that engine might have...

usualy if you degrease the bolts and or nuts before reassembling them they shouldnt fall off .
We have one guy here who looses them regularly, he resorted to attaching a piece of wire to the muff...

I run a few of these engines. I did the break ins all the same way in the air and running very rich. they all run great .
I think most would run at least 20 oz of fuel through on the ground...

Good point about that pushrod set up, you might want to change that to a bell crank set up, and what size motor are you running, are you sure mini servos in the tail are enough.

The motor definatly starts counterclockwise, they will start backwards somtimes but you probubly wont get more than an idle backwards

Are you sure the fuel is entering the carb? is the exhaust spray dry or wet ? and the starter thing that frank99 mentioned.I find that the Saito engines are so reliable and easy starting.

I would use the Master Airscrew 11x7 I have a couple of the same engines, most props need to be balanced, you can buy somthing as simple as a fingertip balancer Great Planes makes one the part # is...
