Updated info on the Aluminium head
The vendor claimed it is the same Align head! No modifications are needed to fit it onto the #37.
Can wait to have my new machine but they have a reputation on shipping out slowly [:@]

that will be great.. no need for upgrade on the shaft.. if that will be the case then the Align head will also fit the DF60 since the 37 and 60 have the same head.. but what about the ball links for the servos.. the align uses bigger balls so you will also need to change the links for the swashplate ball links and the servo links... but that is a minor change.. the good thing is the head is plug and play... man thats good news..

You just can't go ahead and buy a metal align head.. cause it won't
screw on the original DF37 main shaft.
The hole on the df37 main shaft is lower. You would have to also buy
the align main shaft too.
Just a note.

MY turn to crash and burn.
I took my baby out for a fly. Everything was ok. I was doing an oval shape fly pattern back and forth,
away from about 15 feet in the air. ALL OF A SUDDEN! it start to yaw like there was no tommorow.
Spinning out of control SH@T! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! everyone watching me was screaming..
I cut the power completely! and then just about 5 feet before hitting the ground I gave it FULL BLAST!
It landed hard, but it did not break anything. Training gear pinpong balls was all over the place.. hehe.
closer inspection revelead that the rudder controll went on me. After looking closely, one of the blade holders
for the rear rotor, the plastic arm ball linkage, broke of! I looked at the other one,, it came apart on my hands.
FUNK THAT!. I will replace them today with ALIGN PARTS.. WITH METAL ball linkages. I'll report on the success.

Sorry to hear that Cepeda, can you post pictures when you are done? I am actually going to replace my tail rotor system with a CNC piece before I do the main rotor. For me, there is more bang for the buck in it. I want a precision tail rotor with no slop and a smooth slider. The plastic rotor head works fine for now so I'm going to wait on replacing it....

Hello DF37 owners,
I am just here to ask what a 37 is?
Is i bigger than the 36? More reliable? what is its pros and cons and is it a good heli? Is it anything like the DF60? or is it in a lass of its own.

New ALIGN PART. Replacement main rotors for the DF37.
This is more than the original parts, but the performance is better.

Go to google, type in Walkera Dragonfly 37. You will find lots of info and pictures of the copter.
and its slightly bigger then the 36, bit it has more capabilities.. according to the manufacturer.
It simualr to the DF60, but not exactly.. it's bit different. Again, more features and better design.

IMHO, the biggest difference between the 37 and and the 36 is the type of head. The 37 is considered a CCPM head. Of course the 37 is a bit bigger as well. Both have belt drive. The transmitter on the 37 offers the user more options than the 36 as well.
The 36 has more aftermarket parts going for it. Hopefully the 37 will get there too, but right now it is too new.

Here are the replacement parts for the DF37 rudder system.
You will need two part numbers.. The total cost will be 25.00 US
for the entire replacement of the mecanism and holders.
ALN TAIL ROTOR CONTROL SET(XL)
Mfr:ALIGN
Part #: ALNHS1078
ALN TAIL HOLDER SET(XL)
Mfr:ALIGN
Part #: ALNHS1079

Here is some Honey Bee King rotor pics. Is it so similar 37 head (i think 37's head same with it)

If any of you use the Align head you will lose the advantage that the flybar on top has which I thought was a feature on the 37. Otherwise you could have just bought a T-REX. These parts that serhathakan has shown seems to me would be a better choice being very similar with the flybar up on top and out of the rotor wash...

I do not have the original main shaft of the DF37, therefore I can't really comment if the vendor is absolutely right. They did say it can fit with the original.
Maybe unlike you who has seen the align head and have measured to note the incompatibility.
How much lower anyway?
Good to hear your experience on the head as I can see you have tried lots of align parts on the #37.

Cepeda, that's great! let us know how the swashplate works out! Maybe we can use pieces of this rotor kit with the stock plastic parts. Upgrade a piece or two at a time. Also, thanks for the info on the Align tail system. Gotta love it. You're going to have a T-37 (T-Rex and 37 combo) before you know it!

Earlier I mention the TREX 315 pro blades.
I actually spent the money and installed the blades.
The manufacture claims these to be high proformance blades.
They are 110% absolutely correct here are my findings.
1. After installing the blades, I realized that the pitch was set to high, and the copter yawed a bit.
Using the pitch angle, I adjusted for testing purposes 6 degrees.
2. Very little track adjustment needed.
3. After initial spinup, it made a very distinctive sound, more like a mini choper than a toy. Sounded really cool.
4. Hover at 8 -10 feet. After battleing the wind bit I managed to do a long 30-40 second Hover, for me this is really big,
cause I suck at hover.. But this time , the choper stood still in the air with me not doing anything on the control and
I mean nothing.. offcoure it had a little drift.. but... it did not have to struggle keeping it very still.
5. at mid point throttle level, the copter was already in the air! WOW...
6. My copter seemed to last longer with these blades..I said it seemed, I did not timed it, but it sure made me feel
like a had more fun and longer.
So for those who have learned to crash you unit with out killing your blades.. I recommend these.

W37 Cepeda those blades are really good.. they flex better than the foamies and generate more lift.. just make sur you balance the blades.. there are time align make poor pairing at the factory and give out blades that are really out of balance.... but most of them need only a couple of balancing tape..
