,dan, your bird is developing nicely, since i started my rebuild my progress is about at the same pace, looks great, talk to you soon.

For the rest of the trend, i need a little help. I'm building the 1/4 scale bird and plan to use a saito 325-r5 but not the gold head version. This one is from a 1980's run of engines and its power as i remember is not the same as todays run of engines. Might by chance would anyone have the ols specs. Or remember its rating.
Thanks for any help horizon hobbies can't help or provide service --its too old don't carry parts--

regards,
chris melhus ceije 196

Yes, very sad when apathy begins at the top and works its way down.

Thanks,

It is actually less than 10% of the members. With cdbarker, and the above list, I count only 24 members (subject to change) ordering shirts.

With a thread the size of this one, and a membership as large as ours, there are some who have not posted for several years. Some have passed on, some have lost interest in the hobby, and some have moved on to other models.

That would be me, but I look over at my Waco sitting there from time-to-time, smile, and ponder the fact that this is still my favorite model and compared to the rest of the fleet the most beautiful.

Thanks. I have been lurking for some time and the teeshirt deal has made me come out of the woodwork. So, 2 mediums for me, please.

I have a Platt 1/6scale YMF (box says Hancock Models), so it goes way, way back to 1973 or so. It has been ready for paint for many years. At one time I thought I had the hang of painting, but several failures have left me very wary. And I am not a confident fabric person, either. It is covered with Koverall, filled with Knox gelatin and has a few coats of nitrate dope on it.

Someday.....

I have been a WACO fan since getting to know a full scale aviator in the early 70's. I have some photos of the planes that participated in the 2002 (?) Nation Air Tour.
