the build is done dusted
as for what the mags say, NOOOOOOOOOOO thats why i do my own reviews, no BS
i won't say the same old brown nosing clichees they sprout, ok the stall is non-exsistant ( i can get a small snap when i push it too far ) , it does climb like a home sick angel.
i like to tell it how it is, find faults if i can or let people know it flys much better than they think ( microjet )
just some cocky git went and designed a plane i can't find any flying fault in yet lol
i should just write......
"Believe the hype"
for me the choices where easy on bits.. clear canopy, tho now i wont have a bloke, just smoke it out, white cowl and spats coz the rest is white and carbon UC, only slighty more and it looks right in CF.
i put my spants on the other day using those washers with twisted bits on the edge to hold them and then big washers behind to stop them moving, well, that worked ok but now the washers are tearing through the spats, so i'm gonna use even bigger washers with some wet and dry on the faces i think.

Phil
you should not need star washers or sand paper.
just regular washers with the nuts done up tight like that terrible drawing I posted.
Thats all I use.
If you are on a grass field then maybe add a dot of silicone or cyano between spat and u/s from above to limit chance of rotation.
its all I use..
no talk of deals on here edible... email me ! to the address I gave you..

That scheme i made up as i went along was inspired by Phils FC extra, so you guessed right malcolm!
I think it would be worth saving up for a custom sigma signs scheme for a Capiche 140.I have always wanted an airbrushed-looking scheme that amazing, and It would be soo nice. If sigma signs are going to hastings, i will have a chat with them to find out some more info for us all.

Well there you go, I've placed my order, and the cheque is in the post (or it will be once I have gotten home and written it out).
One Full GRP Monty on its way to me

Allthough I fly off a grass strip, it is kept in very good condition, and it is possible to fly with spats May to September. They come off 1 October though, either by my hand, or the by the strip if I have forgotten LOL.

our field isnt bad but my spats do rub the grass, esp if i get off strip. i didn't think the washers would cut through. Personly i'd like to see the inward edge of the spat uncut so it can be raised on the wheel, i'd perfer that look and it'd be better for long grass. but Carbon Copy make the spats and if thats how they are, it must be right, right?.

Since the Capiche is supposed to be able to fly pattern how is it at speed. Are there any flutter issues? A 13x6 APC on a Saito .72 is what I plan to run. I know that prop won't really get the speed up but i dont need any more speed than that. If it won't flutter at full throttle on a level pass with that engine prop comb i'm happy.
How well does the Capiche track? Planes that 3D well usually are twitchy on the pitch axis.

the ailerons are such that i don't think they would anyway, the elevator and rudder is more "funfly" but i've had a few fast passes on my 50 and 13x4 with no problem even tho i don't think my 4mm carbon elevator joiner makes the other side as stiff as it could be with the 3mm metal one.
define twitchy for you, i can do huge smooth loops on high rates by just breathing on the elevator, but thats how i like it, flick rates on for pattern and it's smooth as you like. think my CofG might still be too far back too.
if i took i guess i'd say the 3D comes from the size and throws of the tail surfaces, but if only moving them slightly it's a patternship. which comes from the depth and lenght of the fuz + the overall shape

indeed its all about throws...
use the aerobatic set up on one switche and the 3D on the other...
It is a small pattern style model, with classic looks, and large control surfaces.
We have carefully designed the kit and construction and I believe that if a builder sticks to the plan and instructions there should be no problem.... weve driven them hard on 2 and 4 stoke and no signs of flutter... Ive seen them being flown faster then I fancy but still fine....
When you fly it though you will discover that you dont want to drive fast.... it does pattern stuff nice and slow because it has a modified pattern style wing as opposed ot a fun fly section, and it is very light.
The rudder is very big but very well behaved.....
Jees Im hot... its about 35 here today !
