you would have to put the servos and battery in front of the engine to get it to balance with a 110!!! that is fact
it is perfectly ballanced with a 140 in the nose and 1/2 lb of APC 17 x 8 prop

Now she's had her maiden I will sort out the throttle problem (carb), and she will have a shakedown, which will include more throws on the ailerons (looking for almost vertical !).
As for her first 5 flights at full throttle, OUTSTANDING. On her second flight she was flipped into a rolling circuit less than 10ft of the ground. Even when the engined died, she flys down even cross wind with full authority.
Archie I've emailed you the pictures

As "The boy" says a 110 aint no good the 120 is better anyway
If you can get one steal it
A 120 that is.
The new 140fz looks to be good.
Super tigger 20z23 or moki 135 good options but you get what you pay for in this world

Would a Moki 180 w/radial mount fit on a capiche 140. or will a 135 be fine. remember, always over power, never stick to the instructions.

as much hellevator as poss?? i had to turn my rates down with the new Du-bro horns, i had almost vert everything! 85 degreesish on the rudder, ailerons now on 55%, elevator 60, rudder 80, thats for 3D rates, result is much faster controls, almost like i had Futaba gear on 140% ATV LOL
the sun had his damn hat on until you got to Redruth and District international airport ( and the beach too
)
flew the Cougar around the patch, but didn't dare let the Capiche out, got 13.2k on the 12.25x3.75 tho, engines got a bit left yet

Edible...
"never stick to the instructions"
Will you please learn that you are dealing with seasoned professionals here.... I too am sick of conservatism on model kits... it usually means it either has not been tested fully or there might be a problem if you "go to far" and hence keep it safe instrs and setup are given..
NOT SO WITH the Capiche family... the Baron knows... he presented us with a great design and the test pilots came back with nips and tucks here and there...to produce an even better plane.
The set ups and advice that is given with the 50 is REAL, and the same will apply with the 140.
Fact is that from a weight perspective the 140 will fly like a pleasant plane on a supertigre 90 ! its light enough... but the problem is that it is designed for more horses, and so putting a lighter motor in might cause cg probs as the boy says.
As Baron says we are looking to minimize that whilst maintaining optimal set up for 120/140 size / weight engines. You cant have it all ways... well you can but it would take us longer to produce the kit !
and you wouldnt want that would you !
Philly... stop panicing.. the rates I mentionned are switch on when you are stalled....
Cabane.... very well done indeed.... but really truly was it worth all that effort ! (dont say yes cos I know yerlyin !)
