your avatar confused me the first time, we all know each other here by our faces ( same in real life ) it's easier than names when you've got 60k users on here ( the new stock avatars are annoying me for that reason ) your avatar is shared by another user and i mistook you for him, even tho i've not seen him for months.
change of avatar and signature does not a new personality make

Re the 120 Sprink my original model flew with great authority on the 120fz (lovely motor)
Just to add a little more to the debate "The Boys" new wing with its mods and improved cad bits is a whacking 6 ozs lighter [8D][8D]
That Makes his leccy sub 9 1\2 lbs the Ic should easily match it. But you will struggle with CG with anything smaller than the 120 crank IMHO

I have a tidy little new Weston designed pipe for my 140 DZ....the can just screws to F1 with two sexy little polished pipes sticking out. (I know Malc......I'm a tart!!!)[&:]
The DZ will swing an 18x8 no prob.

I must get an avatar sorted out. That will confuse you all.
Simon, have you tried out that new silencer? Any good? as in keeping things quiet.

I bet that Redruth flying site suffers from extreme flatulance!
we've got enough turbulence from the cliffs, people mock us flying in winds, but when they come here and see just what we do fly in ( and call normal ) they quickly keep stum.
Sunday choppy called it unflyable. yer windy, but no turbulence, lovely
not for a test flight tho..i'll have to link the 360 view of our site i did to my main page, it's pretty good...
www.philsrcworld2.fsnet.co.uk/Stitched.htm
should work...

Webra do a 150 don't they? Would not be surprised to see a West eventually therefore. Would probably be purfect for the C140.
so if you want a West 160 in your Capiche 140 then demand it.
Pipes for the 140 for other engines shouldn't be a problem either.
ummm West 90 in the 50 Capiche, and a 160 in the 140... [X(]

No Paul Carr has an OS90fx in his but read my lips rarely uses more than third throttle!!
Simon I keep meaning to get exactly that for my 140 just never got over to Big Als to sort it. Since Ali nicked my plane I can wait tell you test yours now
It will have to be good to match noise reduction from the new long 140 Hatori pipe.
But config wise what you have there is spot on purrfect for the 140

Malc....just hope the Dingos gonna be kind to me. I know Ali's tried a few and has had some problems, maybe I'll flog it in its unused state to one of those pattern geeza's and relieve Big Al of a 140FZ he has.
The FZ in my pattern OD has never been touched from setting it up from new....stunning motor.
West 160? news to me, reckon you'll see a .75 and a .91 first.

I'm having trouble getting to the last page of this thread.
Maybe posting this will let me on. Keeps on saying 'page cnnot be displayed' etc.
By the way ive just finished sheeting the bottom of my wing. Looks really nice.
Hopefully lots of progress in the next week and a half -I've just started half term.
