Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

I hope I have enough parts to keep my SR flying for a while. I do have two more sets of main rotor blades and a few more parts coming. Parts are selling out fast and some the estimated arrival time is JUNE! [X(] I would just buy another SR but every time I have bought another vehicle for parts I try to keep them both going.
I hope I can get some clam days so I can go where I have more room then my dinning rooms.

Nose in is when you the pilot are looking at the nose of your helicopter while it's in a hover or flying twords you.

My Cox P40 had a spring starter. You would put the end of the spring over one of the prop blades wind it up and then let go once the spring unwind it would pop off the prop. [X(]
Question when flying a helicopter what is nose in? Is that with the nose pointing towards the grown on about a 45 degree angle?

In 5 charges in a SMALL room first time with a CP helicopter I have gone through 1 set of main blades and one center hub. I have talked to many that have gone through a whole lot more then that in less then 10 seconds. LOL [sm=lol.gif] Flying area in my dining room is about 9 x14. [X(]

Well today I officially joined the group of VA disabled vets. I got my %results back from the VA. Is at least alittle extra fixed income that I get from 10 years of service and Combat Tour.

Bless our service people as they are the real back bone of this country. Just wish the darn politicians where as committed as our service people.
Bottom line trying to learn to fly in the dinning room just is not working. [:@]

Good luck with the SR and the plethora of parts there, 46u!

As well as my SR... But once again, probably won't even be able to spin it up til Sunday.
The shirt made me a little giddy though.

Any one want to buy a SR? Looks like it is going to be at least 6 MPH winds for the next week. Guess I will have to be happy with flying my MSR in the house. What is the max MPH winds do you guys recommend learning to fly in?
Just kidding about selling the SR but does not look like I am not going to get any flying time with the SR for a while unless I want to keep eating up parts and fly in the dinning room. [

Lipo question I know you are not suppose to store Lipo batteries at full charge. My charge has a storage setting but I want to know when you should set them up for storage if you are going to let them sit a day 10 days or how many days?
Thanks
Thanks
I never discharge to storage but I think I will be starting that next fall for the winter. No need to discharge them if your using them through the spring/summer/fall. It's when they sit longer than a month or more. Mine have always sat fully charged but that just hurts the lipos performance if they sit for months. No worries on fire or such.
Blessings,
Jay

Kyle....I just did a C&P exam today, my first one. The examiner wasn't very happy with the Navy letting me out(retiring me) with nerve damage in my right wrist from an accident. I've got two trips to Detroit VA headquarters comming up as well for other stuff. I gotta feeling they're really NOT gonna be happy when they put a scope in my chest and see the asbestos barbs sitting in the scar tissue of my lungs. NO...I'm not having fun yet. How long did the whole process take? I've been working on it since Mar 09.[

Yeah they are very UN-helpful some times. My biggest problem is my wounded left hip, and since the VA is contracting out most of their claim exams I get a local ''pain specialist'' who doesn't read my history, tells me its all in my head, then I get 0% for a combat wound cause the guy says'' I have normal strength and motion'' which he didn't even check. So I am very angry with that and filed a appeal.

does anybody here KNOW how to bring up a 3S 3200mAh that won't catch on to charging anymore
because the CHARGER claims "low battery" which probably refers to the charge in the 3 cells.
Once before I connected to a "discharge" system and after that it caught on for charging again.
This time it won't do it.[

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
the BAD FLU came back and I'm OFF four days (AGAIN ! ) I MUST be prone (or sumpin" ? )
I "beautified" my SR .... I think it looks better in RED, but I didn't want to change the boom into black
wouldn't know how to dis - and re-assemble the whole thing. I REALLY LIKE to fly this little helicopter.
In fact, I will DO flips, rolls and loops next time I go out.
been working real hard on the CAMEL and the T-34 MENTOR. Also the WEBBIE CAM project, carrier is
almost done. That will be the next movie. Looking forward to THAT ONE, because I think I should be able
to get a great High VIew of the Big Airport, three miles away......maybe some big 747 t/o or landing.

Rick...at your age that would look undignafied AND you MAY hurt yourself.
I'm just thinking the flips and rolls and loops will be the tantrum you have when you splatter it all over the ground.......[X(] You KNOW I gotta pick on ya....
