What a skunk! Just as I suspected people took a free fuse and fixed the original, while ripping Chris off. It is a shame. I hope no one buys it.....I actually looked at the Aeroworks Extra that this person is selling too, but never now...

I had to take the bottom covering off of my fuse to do some vibration repair. I Also needed to tighten up the six (6) srews that stabalize the metal landing gear brackets to the fuse. Added some extra stock and glue too. Should be ready for this weekends IMAC in Peebles, Ohio.

Anyone else planning to be there?

Hello I take 12 flights in my Yak and each one of them to be an
incredible experience reason why this airplane can do it all whit easy.

Never had an airplane that outside like trainer and at the same
time a 3d monster, it lands incredibly it does not affect the cross wind.

Single two problems cost work to me to clear the cabin and the cable
of pull pull becomes loose with the 2 or 3 fligths. can help me please?

Sorry for my English

Greetings

romanrc, you can use the cable system that is included. Here is a trick to help them stay in those housings. Take the cable and tie a single slip knot and leave about 1/4" excess, stuff down into the housing and then screw it onto the rigging coupler. You can do this on both ends, it will take some measuring to get the overall length, be sure to leave yourself enough so you are not short and you can tighten to your desired rigidity.

I am back in business.
New Yak got here today and I will be starting it tomorrow.
I think you are testing the new yak prototype ( made by an other manufacturer according to Freestyle-rc). Maybe i have misunderstood " new yak" and you are referring to a different yak?!

For those who are looking for an 87" EF Yak there is a new one listed in the Marketplace.

I mention this because this on will sell fast.

Unfortunately I've been quite under the weather the past 4 weeks and haven't been able to even get to the field. It doesn't look promising that I'll get out much the next 2 months either, and when I do I have reviews that need completed.

Since I have another 87" Yak coming (whenever that is hopefully by spring) I have decided to sell my Yak.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=125692

This in NO WAY means anything other than I'm not well, can't fly and would rather put money back in the bank since I'm not back to work yet. It is by FAR the best flying plane I've flown and will make someone an awesome aircraft for many flights.

I have flown it at least 30 times and it amazes me how well it makes me look.

Follow this thread to see the painstaking building and extra detail that went into this particular build.

the Yak 87" is a very nice plane...however the only problem is that you can get the plane anymore.... I have one and the cowl is all mess up... I can't get part either.... that sucks.

Chris has plenty of parts. People must have gone through some serious cowls for him to have run out.

Maudib,

I've very sorry to hear of your illness. Your plane is worth every penny of what you're asking. With the scarcity of this plane, and it's incredible quality and flying characteristics(and your obvious great building skills), I would think you ought to be able to get retail for it. If I were you I'd be asking the $2200 you have in it.

Good luck.
